Nike sales/marketing meetings this week
does anybody have any idea what the price point would be for new putter line? would it be stainless or carbon make up? i wonder if they price it in close to the $300, would it do well enough to compete with SC, Betts, TM KiaMa, Black Series, etc...

Granted the last 2 are in the $250 range, but you get the point.

when i first paul casey's putter it had a "wow" factor as it was something new and different. i hope to see the nike putters priced in the $250 range and not that $299 price point.
I heard the pricepoint would be $160 but I have a feeling that it will be higher then that. I personally will be buying this putter no matter what price it comes out at. With all the hype it has created on tour I am sure it is going to be a nice one!
the putter will for sure be $160.. they will not release a 380cc head but will release a 420cc head in the victory red line along with new fairway woods.. i hear the victory red stuff will look sick..
They are going to sell a ton of these at this pricepoint for sure! I cannot wait to see the new VR drivers, fws and hybrid line. I hope they nix that matte black finish as I like the look of a glossy clubhead.

thanks money! that would be sweet if the price is right around $160, a putter under $200 with this much hype could do really well for nike! i guess we will have to wait and see.

No problem and it looks as if it will be $160 pricepoint as other Nike insiders have confirmed this. This is a very smart move by Nike abd they will sell a ton if marketed correctly!

my "source" says the same thing - the 380 dymo wont cross our minds after the VR line is introduced. it is easy to believe someone who has very good tastes in clubs/drivers and has a twinkle in their eye when talking about the line...

I just checked the USGA Driver Conforming list. My guess is there won't be any pictures available until the driver models are published on the USGA and R&A conforming driver list. After that I would think we will start seeing some of the new drivers being used by the Nike tour staff and there will be some pics starting to show up at that point.

Thanks! Will the new VR line of driver, fws and hybrids feature str8-fit technology?

i hope it's not str-8 fit either. they need to have a players club that is glued...period!

a str-8 fit option would be good for some. just looking at the masses, these adjustable drivers are the worst thing that you can get. for the dynamic player...there's value mainly in opening the face and adjusting the lie angle. i have yet to meet a mid/high capper that improved their game with one of these adjustable clubs, you can't fix swing flaws with it. anyone that needs to close a driver face needs to be working on their swing and not fiddling with a wrench. TM and it's wrench and weight $h*t is a joke.

my driving was bordering garbage till i canned the str8-fit and went back to my SQ Tour...i'm sure some like it but really, at its core, its unnecessary.
I wish they would have this meeting, I am tired of waiting. Getting early inside information about future clubs is a blessing and a curse. I like hearing about it and getting excited, but after a while I just want it to be released already.
I hear ya man! I'm holding off buying hybrids and fws because I sm anxious to hear about the new VR line. I hope that some Nike insiders can bless us with this info very soon! It is nice to know what you are looking forward to.

So, it was the STR8-Fit technology that made your driving bad??? Now that is very interesting.....
