Why is it the Buick coverage on wrx always has the best putter pics of all the stops?

I've had the chance to putt with both the bullseye style and plumbers neck SeeMore putters and they are awesome. Can't wait to see if they make it to retail as they will both be on my shortlist!

I always pick up the putters and take the 4 views per putter on the neat ones.

That board is like a padded skid plate with velvet fabric on it. Smooth ot out with you hand to make the grain go towards the ball at address. Then the player stokes the putt. The ball leaves the ground and lands 9 to 12 inches (approx) onto the center of the mat. It skids and leaves a dimple bounces and lands again till it begins to roll.

The witness mark tells a story for the fitter.Dimple shape and distance from it to the hit. Also distances from the first dimple and the second one etc.


Rife is trying to fit the loft and groove patten for the specific stroke or player.

I saw both the "portable dew test" board and the new finish a couple of weeks ago when I met with Guerin.

The new finish is awesome.... however it is destined for tour only and limited edition putters for the immediate future. Cost of doing the finish here is high and RIFE is looking for the technology in the far east to bring costs back down for mass production capability.

I"m waiting for my board... and the next limited edition in the new finish.

There are different groove patterns? What would the differences between the different patterns? Are these available in the OTR putters, maybe even on a custom order.

I got confused with what Richard was trying to say . The short of it is it basically replicates the Dew Test . Being able to show a player the difference in roll is big and it allows the player to make his on conclusion by what he sees . You can adjust the loft accordingly bywhat you see on the fabric and then tweek it at the trailer . The grooves are the same , but we have done a couple with a bigger land area for a couple of players . The fabric is pretty cool , like mentioned every time the ball makes contact it leaves a mark .

I'm loving the SeeMore Bullseye. Now if only we could get a Rife Bullseye with that dark oil can finish and a pair of thin sightlines.... that's a putter I would buy.

A lot of very nice pictures thanks - I like the Rife Abaco in that finish (what is the finish called)? Also like the heel shafted white hot xg 330 mallet wish they offered that neck combination.

Why does Odyssey make all these inserts with the bumps in the middle for the retail putters, but continue to produce (what at least look like it in the photos) the smooth white-hot style insert for the tour putters?! I have been using the tri-hot for a few years and love the feel. I wish they would make a replica of the tri-hot with the same insert!

It's a putting disk. It's just a target for the putting green that is the same diameter as the hole.

Did you ever hear back from Odyssey about the center shafted black series? I am really hoping they release this putter to the public.
