Yep. saw those VIP irons too.. Now I am KICKING myself because I sold the matching PW on ebay about 6 months ago, thinking I would never be able to get the rest DOH!

Those are very nice looking irons with very clean and gentle lines. I prefer the solid or muscle back irons to cavity but everybody has a preference. funny thing is there was somebody selling a set of M85 Super EOMs a couple of days ago, but his listing wasn't very good. They were in as good as shape but the decals on the head were not put on during the install. The auction started at 50 and there were no bids. I was gonna grab them. They were mint and really sweet.

Nice driver.. Louisville Golf is such a great company, and a really important company too.... If I had one comment to make though, it is I wish they would line up the face screws, like MacGregor used to do.. I think its a much more refined look..
At any rate, this is a really nice driver. The pic of the original is insane! Looks like the neck was shattered multiple times!

Here's an interesting set of Arnold Palmer blades commemorating his 1954 U.S. Amateur victory. Asked the guy about who the manufacturer was and when they were made- he doesn't know. Do any of you vintage gurus recognize them?

Here is an interesting set of M85s.. The driver is a 1 1/2 wood.. I have seen lots of MacGregor odities; they were really good with special orders, and you never know what you will see......
