I spend most of my time over at Ham and Egg but I ususally lurk here and anjoyt the tour equipment pictures. Finally decided to register and make a couple of posts. I design telecom equipment for a living, play about 2 times a week and currently play to a 15 index which is up from my low of 12. My name is Jim, i was referred to this site by golfchicago. I recently played some golf with the man and he's a great guy.

 

I'm a single digit handi with a great shortgame and well, as my name says, a putting guru :drinks:

Also, i know a lot about the swing and can/do give lessons to people so i'm sure i'll be hanging out in the golfswing section a bunch. I tend to give advice that is proven and works.

Brent here, A Staff Sergeant In the US Army, assigned to the 3rd Armored Cavalry regiment, currently in Tal Afar, Iraq. I am a Tank Company Maintenance Supervisor, and 4 months left on a 12 month rotation, with R&R coming in 2 weeks!!! I was a pretty decent junior golfer, but drifted away due to girls and the Army. I had always wondered how good I could be, since I am not a damn hot head like I used to be.... and my wife is telling me to do it, and to finally get a set of really good clubs!!!! I knew there was a reason I married her. Playing occasionally like I have been, I have been shooting around 80, and hope to drop that fast!!! so if anyone is from the Colorado Springs area, give me a hollar!!!
