Bad Players with GI-clubs

Fundadores

Recommended Posts

Why bother?
I see it all the time. Bad players playing with GI-clubs, only it doesn´t seem to help. The have the latest and the greatest. The widest sole, the largest cavity and still the can´t get the ball of the ground. Maybe they should quit golf and start knitting?

Or maybe buy a set of blades and take a few lessons from the Pro.

What do you care?
Why don't you worry about your own game instead of others?
Maybe you should quit golf and take some more of those 'Win friends and influence others courses'.

Trolling perhaps?

Some people just enjoy the game. They are not all about improving.

Congratulations on breaking 90 for the first time. I guess you've got the game whipped!

But have you wondered why you are having trouble finding people that will play golf with you?

Look at it this way, to some your probably a hack regardless of your HC. Why beat up some poor guy trying his best. You seem to be missing some essence of the game. Also remember before you make both an arrogant and ignorant comment you might stop and think if it wasn,t for the masses of those "bad golfers" there might not be many courses still in business to allow such great players (GAG) as yourself a place to play.

I think GI CB etc are BS too. Back in the day blades were called golf clubs.

I play from special platinum tees 40 yards behind the tips and use a pool cue.... bare foot, in the snow.

cheesy.gif nice one.

But seriously OP, WTH? OK just because most people here are low cappers doesn't mean they dont see golf as what it truly is. A past time to be enjoyed by all. I mean come on everyone starts somewhere. Your post was just dumb.

Lots of them in Holland, but then who cares how they play, so long as they are behind me so I can finish my round in decent time.

Most people that play blades should not. They just want to say they are so good they can play blades. They are more worried about how they look in the bag. They are dillusional about their game. Not all blade players, but most.(not many true blades left anyway)

My favorite complaint about GI clubs is they hit the ball too high. Have you been to a Pro tournament. They hit high, towering shots.
Maybe you are not good enough for the GI club and the blades stroke the fragile ego. Gives you an excuse for your bad shot. Atleast you felt it and the feedback will help your next shot(bs line #2)

Why doesn't anyone give up their modern driver? Take some lessons and get the real woods out.

I would disagree. I enjoy my xli irons. It's nice to come up to a par 3 over water and know I will hit the green or be near the hole. That
wasn't true before. So, let us enjoy our club choices and you enjoy
yours. Unless, you are in some kind of pro circuit. Don't worry about
it...when the day is over it's just a # on the scorecord..

I just don't get the GI purple kool-aid. A fat shot, or an over the top swing is just that. How is the club going to help? A blade with a rounded leading edge should be just as easy...
[/quote]

lol are you high also? The results aren't even close. If you have an over the top move, your gonna have seriously poor results with blades, guaranteed. They have hardly any mass in the toe.

I know , right. GI players get more butt-hurt than blade guys. Everyone should spend their $$$ on WHATEVER they choose to play. I game blades whether Im choppin it up or knockin down flagsticks, practicing or not, since Im the one paying for them.
