Simply put, I've been through 37 sets of irons since 2002 after playing my trusty Ping Eye 2 irons for nine years. This has not gone over well with the family accountant, aka "the wife", as she apparently doesn't appreciate having part of her monthly "shoe fund" spent on golf clubs. I had a chance to hit the S-56 irons recently at a demo day, and I was instantly hooked--great look at address, perfect trajectory, amazing feel for a cast iron. I was ready to place an order immediately and then she gave me the "evil look" that I'm sure many of you know all too well. I fear that buying another set will result in me sleeping on the couch for at least a month , or at the very least, I'll be forced to attend an intervention for golf club addiction. So please find it in your hearts to help cure a club addiction and possibly even save a marriage! Plus, these bad boys will look great in my bag along with my G15 driver, i15 3W, and i15 hybrid!

Because its the most forgiving player's irons out there! I hate offset irons, but like the forgiveness of cavity backs. Been looking for so long and can't find any. You can't learn the proper swing with offsets, and you can't score lowest with uunforgiving irons. With the s56, now I can. That's why I bought one already. If I win, my wife can too!

i want these because i am going to be trying out for the golf team at my highschool and i would love these to help me take that finall step and be one of the best in the school or state i love ping irons my first set was my dads ping zing 2s. i have only been playing golf for 8 months but consistantly shoot in the 80s i would love these so i can have the workability and the ability to take my game to the next level. Well, I would like to be swinging these irons, my wife plays pings, and when we were out in Phoenix we got to meet the owner of Ping and his son, we were quite impressed with the friendliness and greating we got. Enjoyed seeing the new products and old Ping putters.
D4 swingweight and stiff shafts would be dialed in. Years ago i talked with Gary Player and he raved about Ping long irons, like the one iron, he thought they were the best out there. Thanks, JerryMB1

Playing these irons would be awesome. I currently play a set of Callaway X Tour irons and have been thinking about an upgrade soon. I played a set of Ping I3 irons in the almost ten years ago and for some unknown reason I got rid of them. I regretted that for a long time afterward. This could be a good opportunity to play Ping once again.
