There are a bunch of the players on tour who "only use a S 300 or S 400" shaft in their irons and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have any problem beating you.

I work my a** off to get these guys to agree to do a WITB video. I'm never going to get other PGA players to do these videos if we have someone start making immature comments like "Too funny, doe she really use s300 in his irons?"! There are better ways to make a comment about Matt or any other PGA Tour player using a S-300 instead of a different flex than the comment I quoted above!

A lot of the PGA players, their caddies and/or their agents read GolfWRX. I really don't need all the goodwill I've developed over the last two + years shot down by immature comments like that. It's one thing to make a comment, even a critical one but do it in a more respectful manner.

So yes, in response to his comment I felt "that tone" was necessary. Sorry if you don't agree.

This is all a misunderstanding. The "she" was a typo. If I wanted to say he was a wuss for using s300, I would have said "her irons"

I thought the video was funny because he didn't' know what balls he used and just said the blue box. I was surprised by the s300 or s400 remark because I thought he was a pretty long hitter. So the s300 remark was a legitimate question to confirm his statement.

That said, I really enjoy these witb videos so hopefully a typo won't hurt your efforts too much.

Sorry for the misunderstanding but I had a player tell me I couldn't shoot his clubs today cuz he didn't like GolfWRX because of the comments that are made about players. That's the first time I've ever had a player say that.

Again sorry!

That was funny about what golf balls he played and he couldn't remember. I laughed at him too.

Next time I'm on the course wondering if my iron shafts are too mismatched to hit the cut I need to attack a right side pin position I'm going to conjure up matt every who seemed complete comfortable not knowing every detail of his specs. just hit the damn ball.

I love how big bad players like myself can make these issues seem so important when the best in the world just go out and make it happen.

This is the comment that sums up the new society ...... sit on forums ( i do but to look at golf stuff) not to say that i think his cloths look bad, or his hair cut makes him look dorky, or making comments like the one earlier about the shafts....... golfwrx has been nothing but greatness since 08 when i become a member but as most of you know the posts at the end of 2009 and though 2010 got way negitive...... nothing wrong with an honest club review... but all the garbage about badges on the back of clubs, peoples fashisons, or their personal life is just getting out of control..... the mods have to tell every topic it seems like now to cool it... don't know want casuses people to badmouth people or things they have never met or used.... what happed about if you don't have anything nice to say keep you mouth shut.... just because it may be funny to you .... its not to everyone this is a public forum so why not act like you in public..... rant over.... sorry for the tough read

This is the 4th WITB video I've done and I was really surprised at just how little the players know about their specs (or care). They have the OEM Tour Reps to deal with the specs and the launch monitor numbers. They just know what flight they want to see and once they have the specs down to get that flight, they are happy.

I noticed his cg16 wedges have a rusted look to em. Is that a custom thing or are they really rusted over time? I know their new and was just curious. They cant be THAT old. I like em tho! Its different and doesn't look that bad compared to my old tin cup rusted clubs lol!

The pros can get raw CG16s unlike the huddled unwashed masses like us who only get the satin chrome and black. Raw wedges can get pretty rusty pretty fast if played regularly.

what is the appeal of a raw wedge? I've heard people talk about not wanted to upgrade their wedge because it took so long to get the rust they have.

Is this like a vintage wine thing? Raw wedges get better with age?

The S300 is a good shaft. Tour players don't pick their shafts by how much they cost but by how they perform on the course.

lots of guys on tour use s300 shafts.. i c u have px6.0 u must me a real bomber! lol! that shaft is the standard of all so why wouldn't he use them.. u do know that the goal of an iron is to score not hit a pw 150 right? but hey those 6.0's probly make u feel better.....
