Tiger pulled one left on 18. It was heading for some junk right down the fan line. It tags a man in the forearm on its way down and bounced into the fairway. Tiger signed a glove for him - but I think he may owe him more then that. Probably saved him a stroke.

Haha, very good point Serge, TW profits off of his public image quite nicely on a golf course. He is a team, mostly with Stevie, but when he needs em, the fans are definitely on his team to loan a helping hand, or 20 especially to move an ordinarily immovable object. Hehe.

If it was Weir that got the bounce, I would of made the exact same post.

 

There are just as many people waiting in line to hold his hand, as their are to kick his a.ss.

 

The point is, someone in contension, got a huge break, that could of arguably given him the tournament. Fun to watch - Wish it was me (getting the break, not hit by the ball)...

 

All in all, a fun tournament to watch. I'd almost like to congradualate Tiger on his 50th win, but I'd be worried that more Tiger lover/haters would come out of the wood work :crazy:

Wake up people, TW did not give the fan a watch. And why should he? The guy is lucky he got a signed glove.

 

As posted earlier. Congrats on win #50. Impressive.

 

Just about every PGA Tour player catches at least one break over 4 rounds. We don't get to see most of them on TV.

 

Besides, it's what you make of those breaks that counts; it goes in the category of the quality of your misses helping to determine just how well you play.

I was in a P.F Changs up in Chicago (the week of the Cialias Open) and Tiger was leaving as I was sitting down. I asked the waiter if Tiger was as bad of a tipper as everybody says and he implied that he tipped around 15%. Kinda low in my opinion. I only asked because I read an article about Tiger's poor tipping in Vegas.

15% is 15% if the waiter/waitress went an extra mile longer and got 15% oh well thats the line of work they choose. Not Tigers fault or the wait staff.
