Thanks, I simply paintfilled with silver model paint. Did a light coat first time around, let it dry , then did another. All my buddies loved the silver look...

howd u get the paintfill out on the face

I did'nt take it out. Went right over it with silver two times. In one of the pics, it looks like the paint extends out of the grooves, but it does'nt, not sure why it looks like that. (Sorry it took so long to reply)

hey all. I learned how to strip my wedges and refinish as well on this site. my wife says i spend way to much time here now but i can't help it. i'm hooked. i took some pics of my work asn wanted to see what you all think. i did the engraving myself on the wedges ( after reading i was afraid to try to stamp anything) and me and the pro at my club used an engraver we use for bag tags to do the $ sign on the putter. I hope you all enjoy. I think i will stick with the scarlet and grey as i am a buckeye fanatic. The red and yellow i actually did 2 years ago. i used gun blue to refinish all of the wedges.

I am going to take all this out and go with a limy green for all my clubs. Will add pics of the Raven blades after they are done. Here is the scheme now. Have my initials stamped on there and that little 8 yuo see just reminds me that this is the 60* I bent to 58*.

Some engraving friends of mine are using these paint fills for various products. Just thought I'd pass this link along, and hopefully here back from Golfwrx forum users that test these paint fills.

This so easy it's stupid! Had a blast doing it!

testor's enamel model paint and small brush

goof off solvent. Both paint and solvent can be purchased at wal mart.

All I can think about now is waiting on a price drop on a superquad so I can murder it out!

All black paint fill on an all black driver??? Sooooo official!!!! Or all black paintfill on gunmetals....Sick!!!!

Let me know what you think of the pics. Hopefully I posted them. Well looks like I did not. I tried uploading the images

and they load but nothing shows up. Any help?

I had it done at Harold Perry's Custom. They do awesome work. I also had some wedges stamped and filled. I can send you their info if you want. The prices are really pretty reasonable. $20.00 for 2 colors and $5.00 for each additional color. Stamping is only $20.00 for 3 letters and then $2.50 for each additional letter including paint fill. They also put a shaft in it for me as well and were maticulous enough to put the old shaft band back on the new shaft without me even asking. I have had work done by Scotty and I would put these guys up against them all day, and at half the price and fast turn around. They also do bluing, true oiling and other refinishing I think.
