Walked and carried 72 holes once.

162 in one day for a fundraiser...we all had souped up carts that would run about 30 mph. and we loaded up with 12 dozen balls each so that if we hit one into the gunch, we didn't go look for it, just dropped another and moved on. Started at 5:30 and played the first 9 with the lights on the golf carts.

It was the ultimate in "ready golf"...

did 46 in the middle of summer, 100+ palm desert heat (our goal was to do 54). it was so miserable, i'm never doing that again.

i think the most i'll ever do is 36, after that, i'm just not into it

201 holes in a 24 hour fund raiser, nearly fifty miles walked with 14 clubs on my back. One of the early rounds i broke par, for the last few holes i could barely chip it along the fairway.

It was for a good cause etc,but I would not recommend it to anyone. I was crying like a baby while walking with a head torch after a red flshing ball at 2 am in the cold.

Played 54 today - 3 rounds over two courses allabout 6600 yars. Pretty tired.

I often play 54 in the mid-day Texas heat which equals about 90 holes in cooler weather.

In my late teens I once played 72 holes in a day at a local muni course. I believe I started at around 7:30am and walked off 18 in near darkness at 8:45pm. I took a cart for the 3rd 18 but walked the other 54 with a carry bag. This was when I could barely break 100, so there were a lot of swings that day.

Since then, I think the most I ever did was 45 holes, and that was just once.
