4 full rounds walking here. Started at first daylight, and finished late in the evening, around the longest day of the year in the summer. Funny thing is that among the players participating (we did this as a tournament thing), there were a lot of rounds playing to their handicap, and even a few better than handicap.

72 a couple times, pretty rare though.

54, pretty common-ish.

Living in Florida and being an ambassador to visiting golf fanatics willing to pay your fees to take them out does have it perks outside of smelly golfers sleeping on your couch.

54 holes at Bandon Dunes when there were 3 courses. Sun up to sun down with lunch between 1st/2nd round and round of beers between 2nd/3rd. Saw that they are doing Summer Solstice deal for 72 holes in a day in June.

A friend and I played five full rounds and a few more on top many moons ago back when we were young (about 14, I think) and daft. I honestly don't know if we cracked 100 holes, but we must have been close. Appropriately enough, it was on midsummer's day, and thanks to living up north and getting away to a 6.30-ish kick off it meant that we had about 16 hours' worth of usable daylight to play with. Throw in a course that wasn't too busy and.... sore legs the next morning.

The things you do when you're young. At least we absolutely milked those day tickets.

100 or 4 depends on how you look at it, we had a fundraiser and advertised that the golf staff would play 400 holes in 1 day to raise money for the junior golf program, had members put up an amount per hole. It rained that morning and we had to improvise, so we all played 4 holes and played out 25 balls on each hole.

36 walking in the middle of winter. pretty tiring

i think if i were to plan to do more, i'd leave about half the clubs and all but the bare essentials in the car. but i think at some point it loses it's allure, especially solo, and when the swing becomes tired & loose.

81 holes, started at 5:15 am and putted out on the last at almost 8 pm. Walked every hole and felt like I had spaghetti legs for the next two days. That was about 20 years ago and now I won't walk more than 36 but will get in 54 if I ride.

that's like 20 miles of walking. and 2 buckets of balls, and who knows how many practice swings. nice work.

I have played 72 holes walking several times. It is becoming harder and harder to get that many in these days with how slow everybody plays. When my buddies and I go out to play we play from sun up to sun down and never stop for anything. I can tell you it is far easier to play 72 holes without standing around waiting than to play only 36 having to wait around for 20 minutes on each shot becaust the whole golf course is saturated with horrible, unbelievably slow, lazy clowns !
