I go to Wisconsin Lutheran College, which is about 10 minutes from Marquette. I'm originally from Detroit, so I'm more happy with the Lions leading the division....although it can be enjoyable to remind many of my classmates about the Packers demise. My economics professor told everyone on Friday to "definately watch the game on Sunday, because we're going to talk about it in class". Fast forward to monday, he says: "Yeah....I don't want to talk about the game", which was the general sentiment around campus, but to win on a 56 yard field goal, when the kicker couldn't find anything the last game, is a great win for the Vikings.....just so long as my Lions stay in first place, and go to the playoffs at 6-10 :drinks:

I'd like to consider myself an adopted Wisconsinite (I apologize if that's not the correct term) I have been going WI at least once a year for the past 5 years and last year spent 3 weeks in Madison. Usually I stay in the Milwaukee area (Brookfield) and play plenty of golf when I'm there. Always a round at the Straits course, usually at least two of the other courses as well. Other fav's are Erin Hills and The Bull at Pinehurst Farms that' I've played.

Great people in WI and plenty of good food as well. But you guys can keep your winters

I'm in Oak Creek. Usually play Whitnall because I can sneak in when I get out of the courthouse at night and play at least nineand they usually squeeze me in.

When it finally warms up, lemme know if any of you want to play a round.

I lived and worked in Wisconsin for ten years.

My wifes family lives in Wausau and I loved playing golf in that state.

My favoritie golf course ever The Milwaukee CC is there

As I am fairly new to the area (well, its been a year and a half), does anyone play in a league? Are there any good leagues in the Milwaukee County area that play evening/weekend?

 

Just curious. I'm fine playing golf pick up and with friends, but what little league play I have been involved in has been fun.

Almost any local course should have their own league. I would recommend going to a few different courses in your area and see what they have and see what fits your schedule.

It's kinda sad how much that stereotype does hold true for the majority of the people I play with. Not me though and I'm not bald either and I used to be a competitive bowler LOL
