I find Yar putters to be hideous.

 

Holy crap!! That's like swinging a tug boat!!!

 

I actually found this putter in a $5 bin outside of a 2nd Swing here in Scottsdale. It would have cost me $250 or more to get one custom fitted in N. Scottsdale from a pro. I've pulled this ugly thing out for several rounds replacing my misbehaving Odyssey and I'm telling ya....This thing makes the putts drop. I've taken my share of money home with it.

Yar Golf a now defunct company from Tempe, AZ. Side note, If you get a chance look up the ESPN GrantLand article they did on the putter/designer. Right before "this person" committed suicide.

I read that a few months ago- referenced in some other thread. One of the strangest things I've ever read. Highly recommended.

Met a guy getting Gas in the Myrtle area and he gave me this. Told me to "give it time and all the big boys will be using it.

Actually there was a guy building those things down here. He left 3 at my friend's golf shop of course they never sold. We did think that the weight combined with the divot tool would make a good self defense weapon though. Do not know what happened to them when my friend sold out his shop

Had one. Not a gimmick, great putter. Simply another companies version of the two-ball putter. Perimeter weighted with long sight line the exact same width of a golf ball.

Great thread, words cannot do justice to the fugliness of some of these putters.

 

I had this beast (Teron XG) and traded out of the bag for somehting just as fugly the Metal X D.A.R.T.

 

 

Had one and my son currently games it. Something like 60-70% of the weight is in the wing tips. Another putter that works well.

Currently I own a rather plan looking (laugh out loud) ping ketsch, a STX Profit 6 and a Cure!

 

I've also owned the Amazing Grace Bobby Grace and later the MacGregor version of the same putter.

My buddy has one of these putter and he putts lights out with it. I believe this company makes medical parts now lol. I tried it and the feel is firm I would bag it if they made a lefty one.

Had the bettinardi bb55 for half a season. Actually rolled the thing pretty well but my friends would have no part of it. They were literally embarrassed for me. Had a guy ask me one time if the size of it was USGA legal. That was it for that. Anyway great thread

I have a "Baby Ben" Bettinardi in my collection and it's quite disgusting looking, now that I think about it. It is a tremendously fantastic putter though.

I game this guy in silver and black. Unanimously, everyone I play with hates the way it looks. But can't find anything I make more putts with so it stays in the bag.
