PICS! 2012 Titleist 913 Fairway Woods and Hybrids from the Barclays

Wow, many thanks for great pictures. Didn't expect the release of the woods so early. Looking awesome and inline with the driver.
As a Titleist 910 fan I am thinking of the 913 13.5 fd even before buying the 913 driver - which I should be able to play nicesly as a replacement for a driver expecially on my short course. Gring it on!

Is the HD tour only or no?
Yes, Tour only.

Was down at Titleist (Manchester Lane Testing facility) at the same time as Greg at the start of August and was able to do some testing with the new fairways and hybrids but not the Tour Only hybrid. Enjoyed the sound and performance enhancements over the 910 line.

Can't get into technical details but I will say any player who was a 910 fan will REALLY enjoy the 913 models. Slight but significant differences and great shaft offerings.

If the HD Hybrid is tour only I'm out. Out of Titleist, out of scotty, out of vokey. I can't believe we are expect to play those ghastly overly large wood like hybrids and only the pros get the HD. They offer the D2 and D3, the F and FD, and then just the H?????? The H is not a players club its a fugly club for hackers.

If this is the case I'm going to Taylor Made and Adams hybrids, goodbye Titleist. Own goal city.

The HD H is not tour only. I was told by Titleist at TPI in February not to replace my A12 because there would be a new 913 smaller/players style hybrid. I contacted TPI a few weeks ago and they told me that they would have the HD Hybrid and the entire 913 available for consumer fittings at the end of the year, including the standard hybrid, he told me there will be two hybrids available. It is not tour only.

If it was Tour only do you really think they would be allowing pictures for public consumption right alongside with the rest of the retail line? Normally tour only clubs or prototypes are kept under wraps and made to look just like the retail offerings. See RazrHawk Proto, R11S V3,etc... OEMs normally do not allow it to be advertised with the retail offerings, they want on camera the club to look the same as the one that Bob bought last week at Edwin Watts.

Also curious about the Ahina 82? Maybe Ben Crane is using the made for model from the 910 series?

I don't imagine that MRC would create a new 82 Ahina, when its 80 Ahina actually weighs more than 82 grams already (some 65 gram model shafts weigh 74 grams for example). It is just a name and approximation anyway.

I love the fact that Titleist never releases their best performing clubs to the public. They have this attitude like they know the customer better than the customer knows themself.

They certainly believe the customer is NOT always right. I love that type of arrogance. It reminds me of my favorite wrestler Ric Flair. To be the man, you have to beat the man. Woooooo!

So the Hd is better performing because it's harder to get into the air? Isn't that the opposite of what most people use hybrids for?

The customer is, in fact, not always right, and when it comes to golf equipment, the customer is usually wrong.

Moving to Adams and TaylorMade makes sense in this scenario. Probably the two OEM's most known for keeping product tour only and if you notice its usually of the smaller, lower launch, lower spin variety.

That´s a shame. Very disappointing but maybe some of them will make it to public after tour use. :golfer:

Guys. So far the HD is tour only, but we still have 6months before they're slotted to be released so maybe by then Titleist will realize they would be missing a big enough market and will add them to the line. We can only hope.

Guys, I have had the opportunity to meet some of the "Top people with Titleist" while doing my photo work for GolfWRx.com out on Tour. I feel very confident that if you all are willing to pay up front, I can get you access to the Hd.

Send me a PM thru GolfWRx and I will send you my PayPal address. Once I have collected at least $200,000.00, I will approach these key execs with Titleist and finalize the deal to get you one of the 913 Hd's.

Don't be left out on the wonderful opportunity! Send you PM's now and make sure to follow up quickly with your PayPal payment so you don't miss out.

Trust me! :pimp: YOU'RE :welcomeani:

Let's have some fun.

How would you set up your bag with those options? (bummer about the Hd)
You're not welcome... Tour only b****!

Want a 13.5 FD, 17f and a 21h! Please and thank you.

I'm going to have to lab hard core to figure out just the right shafts to use. Excited about the options though! No more made for. Woohoo!

Sounds like you are right. I was told in February that there would be two hybrids, again a few weeks ago I was told the same thing, after seeing your post I checked again yesterday and now I am being told no HD. It sounds to me that they were on the fence about the HD or at least it was discussed and then decided not to release it. Hopefully they have a change of heart and decide to release. I can assure you that my source is not a sales rep. Obviously he was giving me information that was not confirmed and probably overstepped his boundaries by disclosing too much information.

Isn't all equipment proven on tour anyways before it gains a large share of the market? It will eventually be released if it gets good feedback from the players, and enough people scratching and clawing to get their hands on it. The last thing acushent wants is a club that gets poor reviews from the 99% of people who shouldn't even try and hit it in the first place.

That HD is going to be the most Chinese copied, ebay sold, sucker bought club of the year if they don't release it now.
