I find it interesting that a guy who has access to a tour van and has probably played the same length of putter for ages is rolling one of the adjustable length Scottsdale TR's. I've spent some time with most of the new models and they are saaaweet.

IMHO Lee's much like Mahan; a) I wouldn't call him a bad putter, I'd call him a streaky putter.....and b) piss poor with the wedges around the greens

That's 10.5* in the plus setting! So 11*! And all three wood shafts the same...who does that? Lee should come around here more often...

Actually, it's a great bag - Yeah for Westy to drop the G10 for the G25 driver so quick says a lot for that club - Hope he has a great year.

I'd like to see Lee finally get a major this year, seems like a decent guy. For him to switch to the G25's is a pretty good endorsement of how good the line is.

Westwood not a bad putter??? He's awful and so is short game. Mahan was 100% inside 10 ft last week. Westwood runs about 39% .

He might like the feel of the adjustable version. I tried them out at Golfsmith last weekend. It might just be me, but I definitely thought the adjustable and non-adjustable versions felt a tad different.

Wrong. Lee will be 90%+ inside 10ft as will all tour pros as it includes the tap-ins. Lee might be 39% [b]from[/b] 10tf and Mahan might have been 3 for 3 or whatever from 10 feet (100%) last week but it tells you nothing.

When Lee came on tour many years ago he was a great putter, well above average. These days I would say he is streaky. He has had some trouble holing out (particularly when in contention in majors) from inside 12 feet but from more than 12 feet I think he holes his share. I would say streaky is accurate.

Short game is his only weakness and it's huge.

Guy is so soft spoken and proper British- always gives interviews when asked, and doesn't turn down autograph requests. Then partners up with his old man to the ProAm for 54 holes (his old man has a hard time walking.) What's not to like?[/color]

I happen to like watching Westwood. He's been so close to getting a major the last few years. Howver, I think he should stop jumping from putter to putter. Seems every time I see him he has a new one in his bag.
