It plays close to the 6.2TS & feels a lot like the 6.2VC, ONLY BETTER!

Imagine a shaft with the spin and launch that's a hair higher than the 6.2 TS and feels 10 times better.

But in answer to your question, I'd classify it as a low/mid launch, low spin.

The answer to better golf is work your butt off and learn how to hit it better, farther, and make more putts.

No mid spin on this shaft. Marginally higher in launch perhaps .5* - same spin - way better feel!
+1 - love it. Wish I'd gone 7.3 but a great shaft.

Will be putting a 7.3 in my VR Pro LTD when I can find one for a decent price. I've had a couple 7.2 and am intrigued by the .3 series.

So is this still the case - TS 6.3 is LOW SPIN but better feel than the TS 6.2?
Yes. The TS 6.3 is essentially the TS 6.2 with a slightly softer butt section. This gives nearly the same launch characteristics while also giving a smoother feel to the player.

YEP
There are quite a few tweener folks who can't make the most from the .2 in an X but are too stout for the S without tipping. The .3 fills the niche by offering very similar launch and spin but the softer butt section allows the shaft to feel less harsh/stiff, as this seems to be the complaint from those who tried the .2 but couldn't get the "feel" right. I include myself in this category.

Do you have any numbers to show the same spin rates? The only review I've seen (bombsquad) showed numbers of the 6.2 6.2TS and 6.3TS and the 6.3 spun more in that case

5w:  Titleist TS2 (Ventus Blue)

Yeah, un-tipped 6.2 vs 6.3 on a outdoor Trackman shows the .3 spin rate an average of 130 RPM higher. This is over 140 shots with each shaft in a R1 head. I'll gladly give up 100 RPM for the difference in feel and the load I get from the 6.3. Let me also state the .2 is an outstanding shaft! I'm gaming a 7.2TS in my 3-wood. If I could still bring it like I used to, the feel may not be an issue

Thanks. The TS6.2 is off to BST then. Love it but want a tad more feel. TS 6.3 is now being hunted down!

I was thinking of going TS 6.2 in my Fast 12LS this summer, but the more I read up on the TS 6.3, I definitely think thats the direction I'm going to go. Going to have the head refinished matte black too, the white with blue and Matte black head will be a siiick combo. Grip it up with a Black/black multicompound and its a pretty dang gorgeous club that will absolutely nuke the ball. Harder to find a good deal on one of these though, I may end up paying 275 for one.

Will do, it's amazing and spotless. This combo dramatically cuts spin and complements this head really well, maybe to much for me so stay in touch...BB

Im playing one in my RFX 6x tipped 2" and it the most amazingly smooth shaft that I have played in a long time. It launches a smidge higher 1* than the 6.2 TS that it replaced...
Did you go to the 6.3 from the 6.2 just for the better feel? Just wondering because I think I may do that.

Same here. I don't want to drop 275 for one. There's an 8.3 on the bay that's calling my name for my future 913fd.

I tried the 6.2 TS Stiff, in my Titleist 913, and had to rack the loft up to 11.25* to get the ball flight I wanted!! but it felt pretty good to me, and the roll I was getting out of it the end of the range was great. I thought it was stout, but not overbearingly so.

I sold my 913, because I wasn't fond of the feel. I also have a TM Burner 07, that I need to reshaft, so I'm thinking of getting the 6.3TS for that little bit of extra feel and launch, and popping it in either the Burner, or getting a G20 10.5* for it to slip into. Not sure which route to go yet.

jay65, I sold my 913 for the same reason, didn't feel anywhere near as good as my old 910D3 darn it! Live and learn I guess...BB

Funny that. I had a 910 and was pretty happy with it, in terms of feel. Bought the 913 on a whim, and had the same experience as you exactly. I know some people prefer the feel/sound of the 913 over the 910, but just shows how these things are so subjective to the individual concerned.
