My newest MannKrafted Custom.......

I have 2 MannKrafted putters already. An 044/Double Rattler Hybrid I had made custom and a Double Rattler with a long plumbers neck I picked up here on the classifieds. I contacted Lamont wanting something in a mallet design and he had just started putting the 303SS 2 piece together. It was very much in the neighborhood I was looking for so we rolled with it. I knew I wanted a long flow neck so weight was going to be an issue and I wanted weld bead for a rugged look. We had to put the weight ports in the bottom, and I had him drill just inside the weld bead to reduce the weight as well. I opted for a torched finish and had a "Salty" cork grip installed. She comes in at 363g and is face balanced. I can't wait to take her on the course.

I like it...and would game it in an instant...even with the holes...it still excudes "CLEAN" to me...nothing to distract me at all from making a stroke...!!

I like the headshape and face milling, but other than that I'd say it looks like a homemade job with the drilling. I just couldn't see how that wouldn't be distracting to the eye seeing green through the flange.

I really like the milling and high toe, as a few other guys stated above. The long flow neck is pretty sick too! Will there be any paintfill added to the circle sight line. Is there any rhyme or reason to the other drilled holes? To me, they would be distracting, but that is a nice looking stick! Congrats

I figured this would get mixed reviews. That does not offend me. It is different, certainly does not lack originality. I really like it and but respect that it doesn't appeal to everyone. I can't wait to game it, I'm sure Lamont will be building me another custom MannKrafted in the future!

Drilling the holes was the only way to get the putter to my desired weight range. I was unsure on the holes at first(even though they were my idea) but loved them after seeing the finished product.

The sole actually says "MannKrafted Custom Garage" on the finished product with white paintfill.

Like KyGolfer, I expected mixed reviews. I wasn't expecting "I think its ugly", but some guys are blunt and that has to work. I get tired of all of the threads that have nothing but kudos for the OP's idea or paint fill or "the next hot ticket".
Let us know what you think and don't expect us to cry when the words are not sunshine and smiles. Putters are THE MOST intimate club in your bag and one mann's pride and joy might be something the next guy can't stand.
This one should be in Kentucky, today and I can't wait to hear what the new owner has to say when he gets a chance to put it through its paces.

The weld bead is an interesting story. Originally the flange was deeper than it is now. Lamont had marked the putter for how much of the flange he was going to take off. I had asked for weld bead behind the face to compliment the welded neck. The welder thought the line Lamont had drawn was all for weld bead. He welded the entire line all around. Once I saw it I loved it and decided to keep it that way!

In the garage genre the perimeter weld pops... That was the first thing that caught my eye. Gotta love it when a plan comes together!

Very interesting putter. Seems a bit "steampunk" which I think is cool. As others have stated, I'm not sure about the holes, but who cares? Different strokes for different folks I guess.
