These are the bags I like to see... I bet the only clubs he's getting paid to use are the white ones. Just using what works... TaylorMade woods, Adams DHy, PING S56 irons, PING Tour wedge, Cleveland 588 custom grinds and a custom Odyssey Versa. AWESOME BAG.

When I was in high school I went with a friend to a week long summer golf camp at Eastern Kentucky Univ. It was at Arlington golf course and the guy who ran it was Lew Smither. We show up on the third day and there is a skinny left handed kid with a Univ of Kentucky golf bag hitting balls. I did not know who he was but a lot of the other kids knew it was Steve Flesch. I had never seen or heard anyone hitting balls like that before. He just flushed everything and was considered long at that time. He hit a big, towering draw (left-to-right) and the sound he made at impact was awesome.

Long story short he was a guest that day and spent time individual time with all of us. He was such a nice, cool guy even at that age. He demonstrated some shots and was very encouraging.

I remember he was playing Powerbilt persimmon woods and Scotch Blade irons. This was in 1986-87 when I and just about everyone else had Ping Eye 2 irons. I asked him if I could take a look at his irons and he said sure. I grabbed his 3 iron and put it down looked about the size of a butter knife with a dime size wear mark in the sweet spot.

I love to see pro's play bags like these. We very rarely get a chance to see bags like this because guys and girls get a ton of money to play a singular brand in their bag but it's cool because it's awesome to see what is working for their game and not necessarily for their wallet.

I don't think he has, he appears to be wearing a Srixon hat.

I think he is still on Cleveland/Srixon staff but only a 54 and 60? Good looking bag either way. He has gamed TMAG woods and apparel in the past also

Is there such a thing as a ball/wedge contract only? Don't think they would let a full contract player play that chose of clubs. And he also isn't carrying the Srixon/Cleveland bag.

Steve was playing in the Monday Pro-Am and his 14 yr old son was caddying for him, so the carry bag was in play. Steve was 4th or 5th alternate for the actual tournament and did not get in.
