Hoping more of the guys who went on the trip can post the numbers from their drivers and the SLDR. Very interesting on the lower spin but higher launch and ball speeds. Also seems to be very forgiving and keeps the ball on target.

This just in....

Speeder 57 is the stock shaft in the SLDR. Offered in 8, 9, 10.5 and HL.



TP offered as well, same shaft options and prices as R1. Motore Speeder TS 6.3 is stock TP shaft

Those weren't the head lofts we had at the demo experience. There was an 8.5, 9.5 & 10.5

Maybe the retail heads in the aforementioned lofts will be. 350 heads?...We definitely only saw 9.5 and 10.5 heads...pretty sure all shafts were. 335

I was super excited when I was invited to represent Golfwrx at the event at the the Bridges. For three main reasons. First I had heard great things about the TMPL from students I had sent there but I had not been there myself. Secondly I really enjoy meeting members of the site and it was great to get to hang with Webber, rbilramz, golfnut5438, duffer987,and Hairpie. Thirdly I couldn't wait to see and hit the SLDR!

I'll cut the chase. We were fit outside on the range which I really prefer. After all the winners were fit I hit a few on the LM with my current gammer which is a R1 v2. I was swinging decent for me and I was getting carry numbers in the low to mid 260's which isn't bad for me. First I tested the SLDR with a Di 7 which is the same shaft that I have in my R1. With that setup I was getting carry numbers around 275 which is great for me! I was also pretty straight and Nick said hey that's the one those numbers are really good. Me being a golfwrx nut I had to try the Speeder that I had heard people raving about. I hit three balls with it and they all carried over 283 but they weren't as straight. I asked Nick what I should do and he thought overall I was better with the Di. In the end I went with fuji because if it doesn't work out I'll just pop in the Di :D

This driver is a low spin beast and it will not disappoint! I can not wait to get my hands on one.
Based on distance, feel, sound, and looks I will give it four stars out of four :smilie_tm::smilie_tm::smilie_tm::smilie_tm:
