I still game the diablo octane tour 15 and 18. Love the look of them at address. I try just about every new fairway wood that comes out and I still can't find one as good as these. I went ahead and purchased a few backups from Callaway preowned just in case something happens to one. And the stock shafts works great for me, feels exactly like the ahina 70 to me. I know because I bought one with the ahina 70 in it and I can't tell a difference in it and the stock shaft. For the price right now, they are hard to beat. You won't regret it.

I won a 15 degree today with an x flex for $35 today. Looked really good on eBay. Working on finding a 5 wood to try. If they feel anything like the driver I can't wait. I've got all the new crap and have tried everything. Gonna try and go back in time!

I change too much to list it. Working on that...

Give a report on that fairway as soon as you can. I'm looking for something long and easy to launch. I actually stumbled across the Diablo Octane yesterday and was thinking of grabbing one, the same as you.

I loved the driver. I am thinking about trying a 3 and 5 wood because you can get them super cheap. Any experiences you can share with these clubs is much appreciated.... I am looking at the tour version. sorry!

The DOT driver was the bees knees.....one of the best drivers i've ever hit without a doubt

I actually played it for longer then any other driver i've owned. By the time i traded it in it looked like it had been attacked by a knife

I have a whole compliment of DET and DOT woods that I rotate depending on course and conditions and all of them are great clubs that I got for real cheap. I still play the DOT driver and agree with MTLJeff - its the real deal. I also play a 13* DOT FW (NV 75) about half the time and it is wonderful as well. Good from both tee and turf, solid feel and strong ball flight. The look of all of these clubs is fantastic in my opinion - compact and all business.

Even though the line is a few years old and didn't have all the bells and whistles of the FT series clubs, I would put the DOT and DET lines up against anything out there. Sleepers to be sure.

Still own a DET 15* and DOT 18*. Love them and they are as playable and as long (or longer) than anything else out there.

Ask Henrik Stenson after he hits another 3 wood 290. He's played one for years. Tour has a smaller head than regular.

That's what I was going to say.

I just got a 15* head that I am going to shaft up. I can't wait to put this 3 wood into my bag - my Sonartecs are crazy good and long but I suspect this wood will be even better if I get the right shaft in it.

Henrik would not have this still in his bag if it wasn't insanely good.

Like the DET better. Really like the hybrids, DET was/is great line

I totally agree, I still have a det 15, that has just recently been pulled out the bag, but I still play the 2&4 hybrids with 86g V2 shafts, they are not going anywhere.

I have not hit any other Hy since I got these in 2011 & don't see the need to, my 4 ball are in amazement with every shot I hit with these, but still try to hit 3 & 4 irons???

Not playing the Diablo Octane but still playing the original Diablo with Aldila DVS 60-S. I love it because I can draw it off the tee when I need to and I have a difficult time drawing the ball. It is still very long and very playable from the fairway. It is like the Millennium Falcon, she may not look like much but she's got it where it counts.

Were these combo-brazed like many other companies were doing at the time?

Still gaming the Callaway Diablo Octane 3-wood, after getting a used one in 2011. I like the feel, but I think technogy is better, and can help my game, if I move on to something newer. I still have the driver also, but it has been retired. Playing a Ping G410 SFT driver now. Possibly going to retire the 3-wood in the near future. Looking at newer used 3-woods now...
