CBS using "Microsoft Cloud" outdoor screen

I get it, sponsors help pay the bills, but this seemed like a bad idea. Whether it was Kostis or Pepper, both seems uncomfortable and stood in front of the blue Microsoft Cloud screen and blocked the stats they were talking about. Weird idea...

It's awful and so forced. The little tablet things in front of Faldo and Nantz are bearable. Not sure why we need to have a screen that doesn't even display any Microsoft tech show stats.

Nothing beats the Konica Minolta Biz Hub Swing Vision camera though!

We had the CBS feed on sky sports today, Sky have the sky cart and have used this for years.

Edit - I did not see the screen that is the topic of this thread so I have no opinion on that. Nor am I Microsoft fanboy.

Maybe the extra advertising money will help them get trackman on more than like 3 holes. CBS has to have the worst shot tracer coverage of any golf telecast.

I was dumbfounded watching Dotty do that segment. Very uncomfortable for her and I. Amazed they even tried it.

CBS just tried to copy Sky's Skycart which does actually work well. The players seem to like it as well including PGA Tour players. When Sky take their team across the pond, to the bigger events, majors, WGC's Memorial etc, all the players seem to buy into it.

It must be better for them; watching their own play from the round that they have just finished and being able to comment on what they can see. The alternative is the standard mono-syllabic, standard reply that they trot out during the standard post round interview. Except Dustin Johnson, even in front of the Skycart, watching his own stellar shots, it is still mono-syllabic.
