DCP 2020/2021 Cancelled

Upcoming Qualifying Season Canceled, 2020 National Finals Rescheduled1. The 2020-21 Drive, Chip and Putt qualifying season, set to begin May 2, will be canceled.2. This year’s Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals originally scheduled for April 5, 2020, will be rescheduled for April 4, 2021.

it’s nice for those that ended up finalist to get the invite for 2021 but I wonder if that will be the end of dcp as an annual event.

Feel bad for the kids that are aging out this year and those kids that will miss being older in their age group.

Why would it be the end of an annual event? They don't state anything about cancelling it outright for the future. They are just adjusting the the current scenario and making decisions they feel best. You can't please all of the people all of the time.

I think it was a bit early to cancel I think they could have stretched it out more in the fall but I get the feeling for the need to do that. I personal think this might give us a clue if we will have a masters or not more about the 2020 finalist than anything. To make sure they got their shot at going to Augusta. Still sucks I know a lot of people don't like this event but mine always looks forward to it.

I think dcp has gone through a few iterations. I think it used to be involved with mutual of omaha So I would be not surprised if they just had a quick competition to fulfill the kids who won next year and just focus on other things for a while.

it’s neat event but I think the masters and really a lot events will be focusing on just getting back to the basics.

Seriously? this was the year my son was going to make it through to Augusta!!!!
