How do you stay warm golfing in the cold? What is your solution?

SmartWool midweight long underwear is the best baselayer money can buy. Fantastic for golf, skiing, standing outside for long periods of time in the winter (football game, etc.). Runs about $80 for each piece, but well worth it!

The regular base layer stuff does suck, either need to go to the 2.0/3.0/4.0 Base or the Infrared.

I played in the 40's Saturday and wore my 4.0 top, had to take it off and swap out in the parking lot (too warm).

Played today in Minneapolis. 32 degrees at 9 AM, 33 degrees when we finished at noon. Overcast the whole time, but no wind to speak of. Walked and pushed my cart

Layers? Please. This is all you need.

Warm beanie.
Golf cold weather gloves.
TW13 shoes. Best waterproof shoes ever.
Moisture wicking socks.
FJ insulated rain pants.
Basketball shorts. Could be any moisture wicking shorts.
C9 wicking underwear.
UA coldgear base layer.
Mizuno Windlite.

I could have been a ton warmer had I worn wool socks. Also I could have worn pants of some sort, but that would have been WAY too hot.

If you play golf much below 32/33 degrees, you're likely damaging the course.

Better hope those ranges have overhead heaters that work. As for the hand, i use hand warmers. There is nothing like a mishit on the titleist blades in 20* temp
