Never have played that ball but absolutely see nothing wrong with playing it at all if it fits your game and budget. Heck I switched last year from the Pro V series to the Srixon Soft Feels that I get at the Wally World up the street for $19.95 a dozen. Saving $$$$ on balls means more $$$ for greens fees or in my case both greens fees and club hoeing

You play what you like..........I have played many I like but right now my ball of choice is the Srixon Q-star got a deal on some boxes new but have been buying used recently.

That is a hell of a deal...........you'd have to order that many with that sites shipping prices to make it worth it.

Shipping was only $8.

As usual, I don't have any connection with the seller or the golf ball ... although many know my feelings about how irrelevant the ball is to scoring, for most amateurs.

$7.95? I just bought 10 Dozen.

funny, for the ball being "irrelevant" you still managed to track down a 3 piece Tour version

I always try to play 3 piece and there's no real reason for it, other than they're a more modern ball, I think?

& why play a 2 piece, when most of them are more than $7.95/Dozen? :)

Got 5 dozen Q-Star from Golf Balls Direct for $8.80 a dozen..........I'm waiting to use what I found to see if I can get more cheaper from them.

GolfTown is now carrying Hex Control (I like it a bit better than the Diablo Tour's) which is likely the same ball as the Strata's (or close enough) for about the same price (currency adjusted). I find they work great (hop and stop) and I save my premium balls "purchased on the cheap" for whichever decade I figure out how to hit off the tee so that the ball stays on the course.

Wilson Deep Red II Tour (9.0)
King Cobra SZ (15.5), G10 HY (18, 21, 24)

You weren't around 2 years ago, for my 2014 "ball find".

I bought 12 Dozen Bridgestone E-6's for $9.95/Dozen with free shipping and I posted the link on here.

The guy that was selling them, apparently wasn't expecting what happened next. It seemed like 1/2 the guys on here started ordering. He must have sold 2000 Dozen in about 30 days and then had trouble getting the balls and delivering.

We were reading posts for months, complaining that people were still waiting. Although when all was said and done, I think everyone got their balls delivered.

Thought about picking up a few dozen of these this past weekend from RBG when they had their traveling show here in VA. I can't remember how much they were, but they were a good price. Instead, I picked up 3 dozen TM Tour Preferred for $25/dozen. That was too good of a price to pass by.

1. The second you unbox a ball it is used

2. Golfballs Don't leak / absorb water

I buy 2nd hit balls, and never noticed a difference
