Things I really like about watching pro golf

I like it when rich Lerner says "do that", and rich Lerner's essays, and rich Lerner's tie/shirt combos. I also like it when rich lerner talks about Arnold palmer and western Pennsylvania.

 

Everything that is good and just about golf on tv sashays gracefully from the lips of rich Lerner.

I think it is non-scientific proof that people just like to complain. I guess it makes them feel better. :)

I for one like Johnny Miller talking about his 63 at Oakmont on a Sunday. If I had done that you could bet I'd have my thumbs in my suspenders pointing at myself for the rest of my life too.

 

I love first time winners. Especially if they've toiled in the sun for a long time to get that win. As well as it being life changing for many of them it gives them a bunch of exemptions if they're not highly ranked, plus they'll always have that one week where they were the best golfer out there.

I just wanna play 9 holes with the irons Miller used, or Jack used in the 70's........Heard they were heavy as hell, sweet spot like a thimble.......lol

I love watching players get emotional after a win, could be first or have not won in a long time! It can be any of them, PGA, LPGA, LET, Web.com, it lets you know how much it means and that they are human too.

 

A perfect example is Chesson Hadley this past weekend!!! His emotion when he found out he won is perfect, shows how much it means to some.

The antagonist thread is filled with names of names like Faldo and Nantz. Are there any of those guys that do a good job?. We have the same casts as you but with scandinavian old pros making the talking during play(You europeans might remember Peter Hedblom, hilarious as a commentator), but if there is an interview or something like that we get the american sound.. And I have to say that they are not ALL that bad? The elderly guy that interviews people after the rounds does that good, and Dottie Pepper is not all that bad. And when like Jack comes into the studio at Memorial there is often some good banter between him and Faldo. But we do not hear the american comments during the actual play. Is it someone in the US casts that does that good?

 

I sometimes gets hold of english casts from the European tour events, and the english commentators are generally good.

 

The most epic piece of commenting was when Jack won Masters. Yes sir!
