Correct. But what if he is 58% as good - does that mean he'll win the Qatar Masters, too?

At the time it was even more ridiculous considering how no one had been a dominant force on the US PGA tour for at least a decade before that.

Don't give them ideas, they already bought the World Cup so buying a golf major should be small change.

I personally have always thought the 2000 US Open was Tiger at his best, but Tiger himself said that the 2000 Open at St. Andrews was his best golf for 4 rounds. That stretch of golf from the 1999 PGA to the 2001 Masters is one of, if not the finest stretch of golf ever played. Hogan in '53 and Byron Nelson in '45 are up there.

Should have? What if Ernie Els didn't make that double, then he should have only won by 13...see what I am getting at? there is no "should have" it is what it is, or it was what it was. Jack "should have" won 37 majors..if only he didn't take 2nd those 19 times. Silly argument.

And what I am saying does not diminish what Tiger did, it was the most awe inspiring tournament in golf history in my opinion. It's just that your "discussion" is irrelevant...what does it even try to prove?

It was a different level for sure. The PGA Tour was his own personal playground. He ran circles around those guys.

13. 2002 US Open

14. 2002 Masters

15. 2000 PGA* - This event was absolutely thrilling and has the infamous Tiger finger point/run in putt, but is at the bottom because of what happened on the final hole of the playoff with what almost certainly looked like fan interference.

Love TW to bits but Bob May got screwed on that one. Imagine how golfing history/Tiger's aura as a 54 hole leader might have changed if his ball hadn't been tossed out a bush and May had gone on to win by one? It would have been seen as a massive choke and who knows how TW's confidence might have been affected?

Still not confident in my list but it'll do for now!

The PGA shot does look fishy, but the ball could just have easily hit into the giant hill and rolled backwards. Here's a picture of the hill on the upper left:

Here's a screenshot. The guy just going down the hill is the one who is usually accused of 'tossing the ball out of the bush'. Personally, I don't see it.

And the actual video starting at 10:30.
