A DP in yellow would be worth considering.

Interesting thread, scored a great deal on quite a few of these so I am hoping I will like them.  Not a matte finish guy, went with the traditional finish.  Been playing the Tour B RX but haven't really liked the last 2 offerings, the 2016 version was money for me.  Should be getting these in later this week and will report back.  Used to be a Pro V X player, switched to the B RX and now....

Played first round with the Duo Professional today.  Overall it's a pretty good ball, not sure it is quite a Pro V X but all in all not bad.  Cover was durable, spin around the greens was sufficient, off the putter and irons it was good.  Still not sure about the driver, seems like I hit a few that didn't quite end up where I normally do.  Going to play another 18 tomorrow, we will see how that goes.  Sunny and 67 today in AZ so not a bad day for testing.

Seems like a solid ball, nothing special I agree.  Just another "tinkering" test for fun, seems to be what I do and I got a great deal on a few dozen.  They will be easy to move at the price I paid.  More than likely be playing a Pro V or Bridgestone again.

You may need to loft up with the Duo Pro.  Its spin is on the low side, and it has a low trajectory on top of that.  I may have mentioned this earlier in the thread...  when I used it, I found I was a bit short with the driver, also.  Tweaked the loft on my driver up 1* (Fast 12 LS) and I was back to hitting it to the spots I normally find myself.

That low trajectory is kind of nice for yours truly, I normally hit a higher shot with my irons.

No problems with trajectory, I hit these about the same as other balls.  I'm going to give them another run tomorrow, I will have a good chance to do some side by side comparisons.

So played another 18 yesterday.  Similar results, pretty good off the irons and wedges, putt's fine.  Still not enamored off the driver.  Lofted up like suggested but that didn't seem to make a lot of difference.  Might play around a bit more but probably nearing the end of this experiment.  Not a bad ball if you get them bought for the right price but not amazing either.  I have quite a few more to do something with so I am sure I will try them a bit more.  Anybody looking for a good buy on some send me a PM.

This is true. I'll play the Pro in wind to keep it low - it has that going for it.

Scored a deal on a dozen. Put into play today. Absolutely fantastic.

I've had longer like TP5x, or spinner, but as for the whole package, this ball did it all.

I'm a slower than average swinger these days after neck and shoulder issues, but really cleaned up my strike in the last year, and these balls rewarded that today.

Long off irons and fairways.

Driver wasn't crazy long, but wasn't penal either.

Over the winter, on a bit of a lark, I bought a couple dozen of the matte color Duo Pro balls, one orange, one yellow.  I've used yellow off and on in the past, with an occasional dabbling in orange (50 Elite), thought it was worth a go.  Have usually found both easier to see from a distance, aside from leaves or other colors added to the grass of the course.

Surprisingly, they don't seem to be easier to see from a distance.  With past experience with both colors, and with other players having similar color balls that I could see, I've been guessing it's the matte finish making it less easy to track.  Less light reflected, perhaps.

I've also noticed the color tends to chip somewhat easily.  After some use, you can see a small dot of white peeking through on occasion.

Overall, still like the ball.  Distance is still good, hard for me to get away from that feel, and they're better in the wind than most anything else I've got at hand (TP5, MTB Black), or that I've used in the past.
