I have the cobra.. I don't see a difference, same features. The sensors or grips were free and after my free trial a $100 was deducted from my account and $100 a year to keep.

**Just a head up.** **the sensors work off the GPS and MIC on your smart phones**. I have a 2 and 4 year old that uses my phone, food clogs the mic always and if the mic doesn't hear the impact then the shot will be missed.. So the night before a round, I take a old dry tooth brush and brush the MIC's.. On the iphone 10 there are 3 mic's.. 1 where you place your ear, 1 in from of the camera on the other side, and a bunch on the bottom.. got to make sure all the **MIC holes are clear of any debris** and the **phone needs to be in the front left pocket** or it can miss a shot.. hope you have deep pockets.

I called Arccos about the miss shots and they confirmed this and the cleaning method.

You can also use an apple watch series 2 or newer instead of the phone

For anyone concerned about not using these before the end of the 90 day trial due to your golf season ending, here might be an option for you. I emailed Arccos to cancel my trial period before I forgot about it over the winter and was automatically charged the $99 subscription. I got a reply from Arccos that they would be willing to extend my free trial until April 2020. Just an option for those interested in trying these out but wont see much golf in the next 6 months.

Interesting. When I emailed them, they told me to pound sand. Not actually but they didn't extend my trial.

Used these for the first time today. Worked surprisingly well. Had to edit a few short chips where it thought they were practice swings, and had to ad a penalty for an OB drop, but was pretty impressed with the way it picked up everything.

A few notes:

-Don’t like the sensors sticking out the back of the clubs so much. They are bulky and I like to have my pinky right at the edge of the butt, I don’t like the feel of choking down.

-I constantly swap clubs, these are going to be annoying to change all the time. Especially with a putter and countercore grips. Don’t think I’ll be buying the adapter for them.

- How does it know distance to pin on greens hit/all approaches? I guess it just uses center of the green unless you manually move the flag?

-cool data to review and will definitely help over time.

- don’t like having to be conscious about if I’m messing around on the green, putting someone’s ball back to them, or something like that.

- hate having the phone in my front pocket. Don’t have an Apple Watch.

- I don’t know that I’ll be keeping them for $100/yr. Does Garmin or another mfg have similar tracking with their newer GPS? Seems simple to add the functionality to one of their nice units.

I would leave a similar review.

The extra bulk on the end of the club seems like nbd but I do feel as though I am choking down and something is a little off. I added lead tape to the head to keep swing weight similar as before. The sensors recorded most of the shots and the data is nice to have but it did miss a couple of things and the manual adjustments for cleanup are not ideal. The data fed to the Apple Watch is confusing as it will give 6 distances in 3 separate ranges (hard to explain).

I doubt I will spend $99/yr on the app but if this had been offered up in the spring or summer I would have had a full 90 days to get accustomed to the product before making a decision. With the offer being in October it means I have 1-2 rounds and have to make a decision, which will likely be in the negative for Arccos.

I feel you on the extra length added, I sometimes grip the sensors and don't realize it till traditions. Did the apple watch pick up the shots with out a phone in the pocket?

I have a Series 1 watch so it didn’t attempt to pick up shots, simply gave me yardages

I have 3 rounds under my belt using these sensors. The first round I had to add about 5 or 6 putts. It rarely tracks my sand shots. I always have to go back in after the round and add it. When it gives distances to the flag, I have to say it's more of an estimation because you have to drag the flag to the position where you think it is on the green. When you're 150, 175, 200 etc out, you can't be accurate of the position. It would be nice if they had an option to where you can select a "Mark Flag" GPS button or something while on the green. That way your can get the most accurate flag position. Without the flag being in an accurate location, I'm not sure how accurate the putting, approach, chipping and sand stats can be.

It's definitely validated where I struggle with my game. So far it's also shown me that I hit the ball a little farther and more accurately off the tee than I thought I did. I'm definitely going to keep the trial going but I'm still up in the air if I will continue and pay for it after it expires.

For those of you that got this promotion back in October the 3-month free trial is near its end. You have to email support to cancel otherwise they will start to charge you for the annual subscription. It's the dead of winter in MN so I cancelled but they did offer to extend the free trial through May 1st.

Received mine today and installed them. Process was fairly easy and took 15 minutes. Looks like the weather might hold out for a round this weekend, however the sensors need 5 rounds for the caddie feature to be enabled. I won’t hit that mark until next spring ?

What type of sensors did they send you? Were they the ones that you screw on the end of your grips? Or were they the ones that embed into the grip?
