Proto is different. It's basically the same as KBS tour but satin and slightly tip heavy. KBS scrapped them as they didn't fit what they were trying to do. Stricker is not playing them. He is using the retail c-tapers.

Driver swing speeds like 114 or so. I've got the 909D2 with the shaft he has in his 3-wood: 96 gram X flex. That works great in driver if you swing fast and like a little heavier shaft. It's slightly lower torque than the 86 gram version. Great shaft and good club fitting for Steve.

Anyone know what bounce he has on his wedges? I see in one photo it looks like a 60 with 12 degrees of bounce bent to 59, which would give him 11 degrees on bounce. This seems more bounce than most of the guys are using. Anyone know more?

Anybody notice that the guys who never seem to miss fairways all have the V2 in their woods?

That shaft is so freaking accurate.

I noticed that today... with all the hype on new shafts he still uses good ol trusty V2.. Kinda wish I still had my old Tour issue Burner 07 with 76 X V2.. thing was a cannon with a 2x4

Im with you guys!! Seems pretty neat to me to see a guy use shafts that u can get for <$100 over the exotic shafts that are hyped up alot.
Oh yeah Mr Stricker seems to be doing ok with them as well
