Okay. I am in. Date is now June 28, 2014 - Saturday. A course, time, format, etc... can be decided upon once you know how many of us will attend. I am confident that whatever @G-Bone and @Go_Blue! put together will be fine.

Meanwhile, I will work on my game so I am not a complete embarrassment to all old 8.8 indexers.

On another note, I played 18 at Rammler today, but my putter let me down. The greens were in decent shape for this time of year, but I couldn't make ANY 4-8 foot puts. Shot 88 . Oh well, it was a beautiful day!

Tom I would kill shoot an 88! lol How did 17 treat you? I was suppose to play Rammler tomorrow, but something came up and I'm hanging with my kids. However Saturday I'm playing Bello Woods and Monday I'm playing Golden Hawk. needless to say the wife has requested no golfing next weekend. lol

I will say guys seeing my handicap at a 30 in relation to everyone else's makes me feel like a bad golfer lol. hoping to bring it down this year to a more respectable number. I definitely will welcome any tips when we do the outing.

[/quote]With a little practice, maybe a lesson or two, some practical advice (must be careful doing this), and your handicap will drop. It's easier to shave strokes off a higher hc'r, I assume, then a scratch trying to shave strokes off his hc.

That's what I hear. I've only had two rounds under my belt and I already have noticed a lot of my irons and chipping has gotten better just through range work over the winter.

Now I'm trying to see after about 5-6 rounds where I'm struggling to see where my game needs the most work so I know where to focus my lessons on.

I just enjoy playing golf so much that I'm not letting anything stop me from playing.

TG - the best I got is a definitive maybe. My niece's grad party is evidently going to be that day. Telling the Mrs. I was planning a golf outing the same day got me some dirty looks and a......."What? An internet acquainantences golf outing, Really?". Its really a matter of timing, and will be dependent on the tee times. If they are around the 9:00 am time discussed, I should be good. I figure that would get us there by 3:00 pm or so. I'll only be good for 18 holes. I'll know more after querying my sister on my expected (i.e. necessary) arrival time for this extravaganza on Sun. What a pain......a couple of women and their schedules!
