My brother and I took 1st place in our Member/Member country club event, and used those winnings to purchase a new Adams Pro Hybrid 23 degrees. I have only hit it about 10-12 times in play on the course so far.

the feel is noticeably softer than my Adams a12 pro hybrid which is and adjustment for me. When struck with that softer feel of the new Adams Pro Hybrid it seems like the ball will not go as far but i have been surprised by how far it goes every time. Really like the impact sound of the new hybrid, it makes a lower bass tone "WHACK" compared to the higher pitch metal "PING" sound of the a12 Hybrid. It has a higher launch angle that keeps the ball in the air for a long time with a softer landing.

It might just be my swing but it could have a minor fade bias or neutral setting to it since more than half of my shots resulted in a high fade...the other shots were arrow straight. Again i have not hit it enough to really tell for sure, just early first impression. This is my first club with the slot-technology and i really dont perceive the top slot that much at address with this club.

I have been playing the adams fast 12 3 wood for a couple of years and it is a beast! (It also has slot technology) That model was also not one of their upper line models (I think), so I can only imagine how good the tight lies are!

What do you guys like about the red tie over the Aldila tour options? Does the red tie compare more closely with the tour green or blue?

The standard shaft on the Pro Hybrid is the Aldila Tour Red. I found 0 info on it. The Red Tie is fairly new from Matrix (at lesat for hybrids) and is mid-launch/mid-spin. It was the only Matrix option so I went with that one. I'm a high ball hitter so I don't need a high launching shaft (Aldila Tour Blue - another option), so I took my best guess and went with the Red Tie.

I'm playing the Adams Idea a12OS hybrids. They make a muted sound at contact - definitely not a "ping." No "fade bias" in the review here: http://www.golfwrx.com/197553/review-adams-pro-hybrid/

i have complete sets of the forged V3 and V4 irons up to SW and LW and these wedges--and irons-- work out very well for me...

would anyone know the bounce angle of the SW and LW of these sets?

the SW of the V3 is 55* loft while the V4 SW is 54*...

the LW of the V3 is 60* loft while the V4 LW is 59*...
