My latest, and final addition to my Vokey SM6 wedges is here. It's a Vokey SM6 60° lob wedge, 12° of bounce and K grind. After searching eBay for a couple of weeks I found what I think is the best deal available, $50 and free shipping. The seller packed this club beautifully, using small pool noodles cut lengthwise and wrapped around the club, which protected it very well. So now my wedge set is complete. Vokey SM6 52°, 56° and 60°.

Congrats. Sm6/7 remains the best looking models....just my opinion!

Picked up the much lauded G425 4 Hybrid this week to match my driver, and got to the range last night. Oh my.

 

I'm only a year into golf and have NOT swung a hybrid (my stock Wilson x31 h5 didn't get on with me). This blew me away. I had heard good things but how easy it was to send the ball 190-200 carry was great to see.

 

Looking forward to shanking it on the course now when the weather allows.

 

This may be my new favourite club.

Nice!  I really like them so far, but I've only played two rounds.  I need to get back out.  I was sort of afraid of how newer clubs would feel.  I'd tried hitting my son's TM Sim2 Max irons and thought they felt really hard compared to my old Pings.  But I really like the way these Cleveland irons feel.  They also look really similar to my Cleveland CBX wedges that I already had which is a bonus.

Finally got round to getting the new irons pictured.  Taylormade P-770 4&5 irons, 6-PW in P7MC with two rounds played.  The  ZipCores Tour Raws are finally starting to color up. Headed out for the first round in Houston this winter momentarily.  Gus Wortham got the call.

Joe Kwok custom wedges. 48° S grind 53° H. Grind and 58° D. Grind. Did a custom fitting and this is what I ended up with.  Modus wedge shafts and Dragonskin grips.  

 

They hit like a dream and really happy with the purchase. 

 

I'm going to send these wedges TX Custom Golf and have a really cool finish done on them. I know some of you would probably think that's blasphemous, but I want something a little different and Jason does really great work.

Definitely like the grip that's on that putter. I got the red one for mine as I don't like the larger grips, and it is a perfect fit and soft in texture, too.

Yeah, I re-gripped it as soon as I bought it.

 

The Lamkin Deep Etched was a grip I used when I first started Golfing in June 2020, and just went back to it recently.

 

Definitely my go-to putter grip now! I actually tried beefing it up with 3 wraps, and it’s absolutely perfect for me now. Great combination of hand-fitting contours, nice traction, and softness like you said!

Just got an EvnRoll armlock putter. Played it for the first time today and had (5) three putts lol. But 36 putts overall… verdict is out but going to give it a run for a little while over my Scotty Cameron Super Select Newport.
