Karma grips?

Looking into some karma velvets. Any feedback? For $1 a grip they are very intriguing. ..

I have to be honest, they really are great grips. I have the karma velvet ribbed. I am an avid golfer. I play weekly and hold a 9 handicap. I have used many grips. After wearing thru another set of golf pride grips 100+ to replace (I do all my own club work) on a whim I bought karmas for 1$ a piece. I was hesitant, still can't believe how great they are holding up. I now have 50 dollars worth of karma grips in my golf room at my house. Don't be discouraged to try them by other people due to them not saying golf pride, lamkin, etc.

Karma grips are a great deal. I have the white velvet mid size on all my hybrids. They have been on their for 2 years now and still are in good shape. I have tried other Karma models but the velvet seem to be the best quality. I always stock up anytime I place an order with Hireko.

They are solid grips, but they did seem to wear a little sooner in a few spots after about a year. That's really not bad since most guys change grips once a year, I just normally don't. I am now playing Lampkin 3Gens which I love and bought on a close out, but wouldn't hesitate going back to Karmas.

I've got the mid size on all my irons and hybrids. Nice grips. I've played 20-30 rounds on them and they still look and feel new. For a buck a piece, why not? I've certainly played worse, can't say I've played better. The guys that want to throw money away on expensive grips can have at it.

It's hard to guage how durable they are as some play a round every other week, some every week, and some multiple rounds in a week...big difference between 10 rounds a year vs. 50 vs. 100+; I have played them and like the feel, they are inexpensive but do wear quicker than say a Crossline, which wear like iron IMO. By the way, I'm in the 100+ rds. a year and that's w/ not being able to play in Dec -- Mar.

i play about 200+ and have to change grips every 3-4 months or so.....not because the get slick but they actually wear out...super anal about washing em....so do these wear out or just get slick?......just tried lamkin utx and what piece of garbage.....grip change gets expensive for me per year

I tried the Karma Velvet as a substitute for the Golf Pride Tour Velvets. Great price and comparable feel but I had to remove them after a few months use because they started leaving a black residue on my hands. I tried cleaning them many times but the problem persisted. I have returned to Golf Pride.

As a side note, since I use compressed air to put on my grips I was able to keep my old Golf Prides intact. I took them and put them in a steaming pan with a little dishwashing soap. I steamed them for about 5 minutes, let them cool, and then rinsed them off. They came out feeling like new. Glad I kept them. (Note: if you do this don't walk away from the pan as it could easily boil over and create a mess of you stove top.)

No problem with the ones I use. Also, Diamond Tour Golf has great Velvet grips.

Reviving this to post about the Karma Neion grips. I just put these on my Adams Pro A12's. Feel is very similar to Crossline or Tour Velvet, except a little softer and slightly tackier. I haven't had the opportunity to play much, so durability and performance are still in question. I will add those details after some rounds with them. It appears that Hireko is running a BOGO special on them too. Good value there.

Edit: The velvets are $21.05 for 25...

Woah crazy that this topic is active and I noticed it as I literally JUST came across these grips by searching "lime golf grips" on amazon

Unfortunately I already ordered Sharpro lime grips though

I'm wondering about the Karma Neion grips.... anybody tried it? Not really cheap.... but it looks a lot better than their Velvet grips.
