Noble6, TY sir, my wife bought me the irons for father's day. I'm still working on the skill to use them properly but trending in the right direction at least. All my other irons are GI oriented so I wanted something I could learn to control the ball with and use for a long time as I improve. I have to say I love them so far, and their much easier to hit the you would expect from a small head

Am I allowed in on the premiss that I only finish building my bag up to spec and don't start adding to it after I've not had a golf bag with clubs in it for four years now so I'm only just getting round to filling one up and modifying the club specs to fit me (irons)


So far I've got


Tour issued TM Burner 08 Silverback (not shafted it up yet but thinking WB)
Tour issued TM Burner 07 TP (just a backup head)
Tour issued TM Burner 08 T3 wood (not shafted yet)
Ping S59 2 iron (with the wrong shaft in it, need to drop an X100 in)
Mizuno MP37's with R300's in (need to drop X100's in)
Scratch 53 and 58 (in process of buying)
Byron Morgan 611 head (in process of buying and will need to drop a UST FF shaft of DG in)

I've always used blades since I started (bar a brief fling with some Callaway 2007 X forgeds) and MP33's a few times before with Brunswick Rifle 6.8's in them as well as a few other sets with X100's and always found the X100's to be the best set up for my swing (that being said theres a set of 7.3 brunswicks for sale so may use them)

This however will be my first set of 37's! Bought on the premiss that they're like the 33's but have a lower flight which should suit me nicely as I hit a high ball with irons

Bad hides a non existant handicap atm, not played in 4 1/2 years but picked up an old Haig Ultra 4 iron blade about a week ago and proceeded to toe my first shot then flush the next 5 perfectly so my ball striking may come back in time, should get back down to 10 I'd hope. Errant driving and poor chipping usually blows up my rounds though......so they'll get a good bit of practice when I return properly

Thanks I've been going to the club occasionally to drink/have lunch and socialise but not played since I sold my clubs back in 2010!


Anyway I've agreed to buy them and paid for all but the wedges and putter as the sellers are away currently! Everything else is in the post to me Does that count?

And I'll buy the brunswicks and a WB later today in that case as theres a couple on ebay and join in this game

Played this course today, saw a MINT set of Callaway forged irons. 2 generations ago. $280. What a deal! PD almost cracked. lol I think I found a loop hole for my Mini Driver. 50th B-day coming in Sept. Wife might buy one for me?!? Technically I didn't buy it!??!

Got my Cleveland wedge set back to 60* today and redid the paint, she's just drying now. It was some hard being in Golftown and walking clear right past the club section to the back where they work on the gear. And then not stopping to browse on the way out. I know there's a few hours left but I wanted the practice lol

They have a pretty good simulator here as well, and the course im playing saturday is building three in their clubhouse right now. Sim golf is great in the winter

If im really half as stubborn as my wife says i am PD and G64 will have a good battle on there hands. I made it through almost all of the Habs playoff run this season without shaving lol
