9.5 neutral on CT 2.0. I'm interested to see what my best setting is on the Vapor Pro
What are the main differences between the CT 2.0 and the VP? More forgiving ? Better distance? I just sold my CT 2.0 and looking at the aeroburner tp, r15, and the VP.
I had the CT 2.0 and now play the Vapor Pro.
The Vapor has a lighter swingweight, D3 vs the CT 2.0 I had being at D5 or 6. I have found that I can hit the Vapor Pro much higher (both set at 11.5 N) and draw it much easier. The CT 2.0 seemed to slide right a lot of the time. I seem to hit the Vapor a little farther, I think mostly because it launches higher and I don't seem to have to fight the heavy weight as much. Forgiveness is a little better with the Pro.
That's what I've found as well. I couldn't turn the CT 2.0 over at all. Lost a lot of shots right.
I know this is slightly off topic, but what about the CT 2.0 from a technical aspect makes it so hard to turn over? When my swing is off this is what I struggle with, but have been reluctant to trade it out because it's also the best driver i hit. It it because it it is heavy? Due to being a flatter lie angle? Just guesses, no clue if those are at all accurate.
I'd love to know the answer to this as well. It's the only reason that stopped me from buying this driver. I found it very difficult to turn over.

I don't like the flex. Will get the speed soon enough.
What did you not like about the Flex, the feel?
Not forgiving enough for me.

Plus, I don't like the smaller head shape.

It's vice versa for me. I absolutely love the shape of the Flex but hate the feel of it. I know others on here are infatuated with it but I honestly think it feels awful.

The Pro is perfect. Shape, size, profile, black face.

I just really like it. I don't know why in golf magazine reviews. They said you need a fast swing speed to get it in the air, you don't.

Just hit a good drive and the club will do its work.

I'm with ya on this Money. Flex looks great, but I'm not big on the feel and can't seem to get the performance out of it. They need to release the Tour Issue Speed and call it the Pro fwy.

Edit: I got completely lost. I thought we were talking fwys for some reason. Idiot here. You guys move along without me. I'll go sit in the corner for awhile.

It definitely launches lower vs the 915 with the same D+ shaft. I had 6g of hot melt put in it on Saturday because it spec'd out a D0, and the sound now is so ridiculous, words can't even explain. 12 launch 2400 spin 161mph ball speed...and so easy to control. Although I did tank on 18 with a quad in virtual today because I hooked it into the pond but was -4 to that point...9.5 neutral so far.

I was referring to the driver. I like the flex fwys but like you, I'd prefer a speed pro fwy.

You guys should go 'old school' and put the VR Pro Ltd fairways in the mix. I know I'm late to the party but I just picked up a 3/5 on the cheap, stock, and I think I'm in love. After both generations of covert and tinkering with vapors I'm sold that these are the best fairways nike has made. Great feel and impressive forgiveness for a players fairway.

I have the VR Ltd fwys. They are awesome. But if the Speed Pro came out and was a little more forgiving...

I thought TW designed the Flex driver specifically for him? I guess that did not workout as intended.

I think it was said that the Flex was built based off what Tiger likes shape and size wise, not necessarily designed by him.

Yeah flex head was based on his. He has clubs built the way he wants so no reason to use a flex with all of those adjustments.

Flex 3 wood and 5 wood showed up yesterday just in time for my first round of the year with my Vapors. Hit 13 of 14 fairways and 15 of 18 greens. Shot two over on the front nine and four under on the back nine for a 70. Needless to say I think I'm going to like these clubs. Highlight was a 185 yard par three which I came about a half inch away from acing with my six iron. Tap in birdie. Absolutely zero complaints with my vapor Pro driver, irons and new flex woods. Used my three iron to tee off on a couple of holes and came close to 230 or 240 yards. Downhill with some run but dead straight. Vapor pro driver does seem longer than my CT 2.0 but the big difference is it seems so much more stable and easier to keep the ball straight. a 2 yard draw on almost every drive I hit. Playing round two tomorrow and round three Saturday.
