I feel like you read my mind. I have been researching new shafts for the last few weeks and the set I'm most interested in (since I haven't hit them) is the Modus 3's 120's. I would like to go a little lighter and softer than my current Proj X satin 7.0. These sound like the perfect fit and my previous experience with Nippon tells me these will be ridiculously smooth!!

Nippon Modus3 Tour 120 stiff for me. Tried this shaft in some irons recently and fell in love with the way I was able to control them.

Id go with the Modus 120 stiff flex. Current irons came with lighter shafts, and while I can see how they would benefit some players, my game would be better suited with a heavier shaft. Never played a nippon shaft before and looking forward to trying them one way or another.
