I will tell you the difference between the 745's and about 10 other sets I have in about 3 days. Although I did buy these because of the looks, I have also researched all the reviews on the Internet these past few days. I don't think the feel is the main selling feature that is being promoted. In fact, after reading 100's of reviews, I can't really tell you what is the main selling feature other than looks. This is strange because usually you can say a certain iron excels in two areas. Ex: Miura. We all know the feel great, look great, but average in the terms of forgiveness. I believe what I am reading is these irons are just solid in all areas. Top this off with the looks and that dang Fujiman, I was sold.

Besides, all of us that are reading this on GolfWRX will be swinging a different set sooner than later. I just admit it. Embrace your inner ho and you will realize quilt was clouding your experience. GO HO!

Indeed. Based on their specs (I really like the minimal offset and I'm not a long enough hitter to be miffed by their lofts) and the genre they fit into, they sound like they could be my unicorn iron set, so I bought a hardly used set off eBay for a decent price. I can see they're at the sorting office now and I should have them tomorrow or Tues.

Going to reshaft them and then see what's what. It they work, flipping great! If not: Oh well. Lose a few bucks and maybe try something else.

I went with the 545s, just the fact of the extra forgivness, you can hardly tell the difference at address between the 745s and the 545s, maybe the 7s have a thinner top line, in either case they both look amazing, have to be the best looking irons about at the moment, and they just work, feel great, sound great go miles, when i got mine i re-gripped and cut 1/4" off the butt, to make them the same lenght as the Mizuno 850s i had, 1/4" doesnt make any difference performance wise to me, just a visual head thing...love these irons, and the driver??..well!!!....just works, came from a SLDR, 100% more forgiving and just as long if not a bit longer, sounds and looks great to.....this years clubs from Srixon are top quality...

If I keep reading how great the 545's are, you guys will need to apologize to Russ757...... Just kidding. To me, that would be the worse thing to do to someone. Backing out of a sale.

If I could afford it, I would buy BOTH the Z-545's and the Z0745's...Really tough to choose which is best between these (2) sets....

Has anyone hit the 745's and 545's up against the Z-TX2's? Like the Z-TX2's a lot, but still interested to hear how they compare.

The Z745 AW is a bladed wedge, but does blend in perfectly with the rest of the set....

I just looked on Rakuten (thanks Russ) and I see they have a sand wedge also. I have been trying to find any information on the sand wedge but nothing is coming up. Can anyone tell me what the bounce and loft is?

Thanks

I think the sand wedge for the 745 is 57 degrees. I got my 745 gap wedge from Rakuten. Including shipping it was less than an individual 745 iron in the USA. I wish it looked more like the 745 pw but no big deal

Just picked up my irons and my first impressions were just plain gorgeous. They are not as small as I thought. Ap2 size. My I25's are a little bigger all around. I am playing at 11:00

The course does not have a range but I went to a hole that I know the yardage to the flag was 145 yds. Right now it's 40 degrees so I choose an 8 iron. I hit 5 balls all within 2 yards of each other and all was about 12 feet from the flag. I am very impressed so far. I was worried about the KBS shafts going too high but based on 5 swings, the flight was perfect.

Also, I was not warmed up. I snuck out there without stretching. For the heavier golfers out there, they understand that the swing was not there yet.

I will post my results. I played 9 yesterday with the I25's and was just smoking the ball. I shot a 37. So today will be a good indicator because I feel my swing is just about as good as ever at this time.
