I just picked up a 60* DS and it is giving my Edel a run for its money! What is everyone's opinion on the shaft that comes in it for full shots? I'm tempted to switch it out to something different.

I've had no problems with the stock shaft. It took a little getting used to it again coming from the Modus Tour 120, but that was it.

Yeah I'm coming from DG Spinner in my 60 so it's a bit different but I'm glad it doesn't come with a KBS.

What are you doing to get yours to rust? I just stuck mine in the sprinkler and left it in my humid garage for the night. It'll rust but it comes off after a handful of swings.

Nothing. Just let them sit in my garage when I don't use them.

Face is rusting as well! I didn't do anything to make them worse or make them look better. No mods.

Nice! But by the looks of it, you're in a coastal area. I wonder if they'll rust slower out here in the midwest with less humidity.

I've kind of noticed the same thing. I'll get a nice little layer of rust happening along the back, then by the time the round is over, the sole is pretty much back to its original raw finish. Doesn't really matter though, loving this club either way!

Im also in Chicago so itll take forever for them to rust like Lesmond's wedges on their own.
If you want to acclerate the rust process, spray hydrogen peroxide from a fine mist bottle onto the wedges and it'll rust and stay rusty.

I can't get mine to rust for anything. They are just stuck in this in between stage, which I think I like. Not at all rusted out but still zero glare. Kind of a dull raw if you will. Too lazy for a pic sorry.

Which wedge do you guys preffer; vokey or engage? My vokey are worn out and was wondering if i should get new vokeys or engages.

I 100% prefer my Engage wedges over my Vokey's. Light shaft, heavy head seems to be a perfect fit for me. Like throwing darts at the pin.

Initial thoughts on the 56 & 60 TS:[list=1]
[*]Absolutely money out of the bunker...I haven't hit bunker shots like these in years (feel as if the grind helps mask some of the fundamental issues in my technique)
[*]Hit a few chips chunky, which I haven't in a while. I'm chalking it up to the fact that I didn't practice with these at all and just went straight to the course. Always tough adjusting to change when you've played a set of wedges for 2+ years
[*]Loved hitting full wedge shots out of the rough. Again, the grind just works
[*]I'm not sure if I'm a huge fan of the rounded toe, seems to be much more so than previous generations (VR Forged). Oh well I suppose, I'll get used to it.

I've had a full set of the engages for about a month and every round I like them even more. Today I had a fried egg lie that was in a foot print that hadn't been raked (public course..). My playing partners saw it and said I should rake it and take a drop but I said it was fine and took my 60 TS and hit it to 2 feet. That club is amazing out of the sand. At first I was hesitant to take full swings with it having chunked a couple, now I look forward to full swings with it cause it's soooo money. I don't know if anyone has made this comparison but I feel like if Vokeys and Ping Gorges had a baby it would be the Engages!

I have been playing the 54 and 60 TS for about 3 weeks now and I'm coming from rotex 2.0s. Will say from a looks standpoint I love the engages because I have always loved nikes square leading edges. The clevelands were more curved and although I don't notice much of a difference I like the look of square better. When I first got them I wrapped them in towels and dropped them in warm salt water outside for 24 hours and they rusted to perfection and have only been getting better.

This is my first experience with the TS and I personally thought it would work for me well. The wedges produce a nice flight for me on full shots much more boring than the clevelands and on controlled shots with both I can bring them in lower. I like the spin on the faces they spin great. Out of the sand.. When it's soft fluffy sand they're great when it's harder wet sand you can't lay the face open nearly as much as a non TS wedge. Learned that the hard way a few times! But they're great and I like them nonetheless.

My set up is:

Vapor speed tw driver xflex
Vrs 4wood (glued) x flex
21* Adams Dhy x flex
4-p covert forged irons kbs stiff
54 & 60 engage TS wedges
