Haha well we've had a little bit of rain here in the past few days, so I left them on the porch to see what the humidity would do. I didn't leave them directly exposed to the rain, but 2 days on the porch+4 weeks of use got me to here.

Got the 58 DS on the release date. The 52 SQ was roughly two weeks later.

Maybe they'll really get to rusting eventually.

Got a 50* Square to try out because I've grown to want my wedges to match each other, instead of matching my irons. All me André 3000 because I think I'm in love again. Has a bit more compact head and much straighter leading edge than my MP-T5, and has great turf interaction despite having more bounce. Also, with the Engage having a heavier shaft (KBS Tour S+), it just seems to swing itself. Not hitting it any further than the Mizzy, but the feel is good enough that I don't miss having a forged wedge, and the trajectory is a bit lower and easier to control with the heavier shaft. Can't wait to get this one out on a course asap.

Dropped some new KBS 610 S+ in the 50, 54, 60 (bent to 59) this week. Can't believe how great these wedges perform.

When I switched to Nike from Titleist a few years ago, the wedges were the only clubs that I couldn't honestly say performed better than the Titleist line. These have finally topped the Vokeys in my book.

Nice! I've played vokeys my whole life, but have not been very impressed with my SM5 54. Need to replace my 58 and plan on getting the Engage DS 58. May have to go ahead and get the Engage SS 54 too.

The 58 TS has been great for me on any shot from any lie. It is not my go to club for tight lies under 20 yards (I use the 54° SQ) but have had success with it for every shot I have used it for.

Can't remember if I've posted, and I don't want to ruin the honeymoon, but the 60 DS is unquestionably the best wedge I have ever used. I use it mostly square for the tight lies we get here in AZ, both fringe/fairway and sand. I also have the 54 TS, just haven't gotten as much use out of it, so I can't really speak to it yet.

Anyone play a 58 SS? Was looking at the DS but don't want that much bounce. Also, for those who play a 58 TS, how do you like it on full shots and firmer lies?
[/quote]

The DS doesn't play like it's high bounce. I have a VR in 58ds that's my go-to greenside for chips, flops, etc but I feel it digs too much from greenside sand, even opened up. It's solid with full shots but I have to be careful I don't get too steep. Recently picked up the engage 54ts and I'm liking it so far but strangely haven't gotten to use much on course. One bunker shot I did have was extremely easy, much like other posters have noted.

I currently play Cleveland 588RTX wedges - a 54 bent to 52, and a 58. I go by more feel than anything, and wedge use all epends on shot, and what I'm feeling at that moment. The 52 is my go to for everything from full 115 yard shots to chipping with run out. I use the 58 for full swing inside 80 yds, most bunker, and any type of pitch or chip with not a lot of green to work with.

They both had 12* bounce, but since I bent down to 52*, it's got 10* -> 52/10 & 58/12. It's rare where I find a nice fluffy bunker, so I sometimes deal with the 58/12 kicking off the packed sand and thinning it...

If I wanted to keep the same 52/58 setup, what grinds should I look at? I know the toe sweep seems to be butter out of bunkers, but how does it work full swing? Any thoughts much appreciated.

Not sure about the Engage TS on full shots but I know the TS on last year's wedges were prone to fades/blocks. I will say the DS is great out of any lie and perfect for full swings too.

All I really did is put some spit polish on them and not wipe them off. I also use a frogged towel but don't dry them just the grooves.
I did notice the more I use them the longer it took to get rust on them.
With work being long and 4 straight days/shifts I just let them sit and they turned out to get a good rust on. Like other have said sand and ground interaction take the rust off which is expected.

Thanks guys you're making me feel real good about the decision Hahahah

So far I've had them about a month or so and they aren't scratched. My TIDG iron shafts are three years old and the labels are still damn near perfect. Maybe the 14 way bag is helping keeping them from getting chewed up.

I play the TS 58*, and I will say that I've had no problems whatsoever with losing shots right. I use it for 95% of shots inside 90 yards. As has been mentioned ad nauseum, this thing is automatic like an AK out of the sand. I've actually had the opportunity (put myself in trouble) to hit a few high flops in my last few rounds, and this club, like the previous version, is very flop friendly for me. So far though, my favorite shot to hit with it has been the 85 yard knockdown wedge. Easy to manipulate trajectory and I've gotten a few really good hop and stops so far with it. Also got to finally get the 50* SS on a couple different courses in the past week and it is an absolute dream. These be "club of the year" nominees for me.

My 54* square arrived yesterday to add to my 50* square! Now I just need to put my recoil prototype in it before I can play it.

Like some others mine are rusting but its really spoty. Not that it matters anyways since I know they'll eventually rust.
