I never hit my lob wedges on a "normal" shot from anywhere. It is strictly for loft - sand, flop, slicing through thick stuff on shorter shots...

Lots of spin from what I've seen. They bite like crazy even with the normal wedge flex shafts.

Most likely just as much spin as any other new wedge. It may be a combination of better technique and some help from the wedges, but I've been able to spin a couple back on some fuller shots.

I'm starting to really have a love/hate with this 60 Dual Sole. I am hitting it off the toe and it just squirts off to the left (lefty). If that doesn't happen then it comes up short of my intented distance by miles.

I have never chipped so bad in my life until the last two weeks. I may just go back to bump and run with the 52*.

On square faced 50-70 yd pitch shots does the toe sweep play like a wide sole high bounce wedge? I'm a digger and just want to make sure the toe sweep is steep friendly, to an extent.

curious as well - my old vokeys are toast and i want a pair of raw wedges

For me, they dont spin AS much as the Vokeys but thats a plus for me. Its not to say that the Engage wedges dont spin, just not as much as the SM4-5's, again, FOR ME.

Never played a wide sole high bounce but I'm a digger and haven't had one dig on me yet, amazing actually! And it really is point and shoot from the sand like many others have already mentioned.

It's neat seeing the difference how these wedges rust in the south compared to up north. Flat out rust everywhere down south and more splotchy up north from what I can tell.

I'm not really a digger, but I do prefer to swing more steeply and hit low spinners from that yardage, and the toe sweep has done a great job of shallowing out my divots. A couple days ago I had a horrid day with the irons and hit it into six bunkers. Every time I was able to get out of the bunker and reasonably close to the hole, including one where I had the ball severely below my feet, and was able to put a ton of spin on the ball and have it check up a foot from the hole.

Lucked into a 52 degree square sole when serendipitously another golfer was trading it in at GG. I offered him what they did in cash and he took it. Gotta say I think I like it more than the 54 toe sweep bent to 52. I felt like I was losing the toe sweep a bit right on full shots, the square sole is right on the money. Surprisingly more versatile than I thought it would be, can hit flops with it off tight lies and it's really great out of the bunker for me. Speaking of bunkers, the 56 toe sweep is like cheating, it's really changed my bunker play for the better. I've even been playing long bunker shots with the face square to closed and they still come out with enough height to clear most lips. After a few months I don't have a single bad thing to say about these wedges, I've been getting up and down from everywhere lately.

I wish there were more opportunities to test these on grass. With three different models, I don't want to trial-and-error to figure out which is best for me. The patina is beautiful, I love rusted clubs. If I can find a testing facility, I'll likely try them out next season.
