Nike Engage Wedges

almost holed out the other day from thick rough ninety two yards out with my square sole 52, would've been my first hole out that wasn't a chip from around the green, but stopped in a divot somebody didn't fix right next to the hole

Didn't need to for mine, when I put them on a swing weight scale they came out to D7-8. I picked up a 52 that was 1/2" long and it weighted out to E1, cut it down to standard and got it to D8.

Three degrees seems like a lot to bend a wedge since bounce will be affected

I have been getting used to my Engage wedges and I think I'm beginning to fall in love. I definitely think they are better on full shots compared to my previous wedges (Edel custom wedges) but now that I've gotten used to chipping and pitching with them, I am seeing the true light that they put off. Great wedges!!!

Love my engage wedges. Only thing I didn't like was sometimes it was tough to quickly find the one I was looking for. Did some paint fill on the swooshes and its made things easier finding what I'm looking for at a glance. Excuse the dirty wedges, just got done at the range and a bird did his business on the 52. Must be good luck right? Been using them since May but no rust for this dry NorCal valley guy.

Thanks,, I like the DS a lot. I struggled a lot with the choice or 56 square and 60 TS but thought I might like the versatility of the DS on a 60 which I often flop. I probably use the 56 75% of the time I have chips and pitches though. The TS is just so versatile and it pops it out of bunkers plenty high.

What paint did you use for the volt paintfill, I'm gonna pick up some fluorescent yellow testors to try out

I've just got my 52 Square and 58 Toe Sweep. When I first saw the Engage wedges, I thought there was no way I would every buy them - what the heck is Nike thinking?

This is my third week, and I just love the 52 from the fairway and the rough. it's my 100 yard club, and it just gets through rough so easily.

When I first got them, I put them in play and struggled a little bit. I thought they were head heavy - now, they feel perfect. Just needed some time to get used to them.

Perfect shape behind the ball. Replaced a pair of original Callaway XForged 52/58 C Grind.

It's been great so far. I just need to get used to some partial shots but these clubs have given me more confidence in my short games

How'd you get the swooshes perfectly paintfilled mine keep coming out with paint around the edges then when I try to remove the excess some from the actual swoosh comes off too

I just used the testors and applied it with a toothpick. Dropping it in. I followed some instructions I found here. I believe I also dropped some rubbing alcohol in first to lightly coat the swoosh as well.

I love mine for everything inside 85 yards.. when I need to step on it for a little more (85-95 or 100 if downwind) it tends to really want to go right which is a bit difficult to adjust for

Pulled out my old VR II wedges with PX Pxi shafts in them and I can honestly say I miss those shafts dearly! So much so I'm stealing them back from my kid and putting them in my engages. Feel was so much better than the crappy wedge shaft that they come with.
I did try some DG spinner shafts and they were better but just not as good in my opinion.
I brought out both sets of wedges and dropped a ball next to my drive and hit both wedges in to the green. After the third hole they guy I was playing with told me to just use the VR instead just couldn't get them to hop and stop like the engage. More tinkering!
