Continental Golf - Refinishing and More!

Continental Golf

Recommended Posts

I am looking to have my AP2s refinished, but I want them to be finished black, with minimal paint fill (the numbers). I know i can probably find it in this thread, but can you refinish irons and make them black? On the website it didn't look like that was an option.

We don't have any way of doing those in black. I am sorry about that

looks awesome -- only thing it needs is the T alignment aid on the top tho --

Nothing but good things to say about Continental from me. I sent them a Yes! Mollie Tour to have cleaned up. There was a huge nick in the topline and they milled it out. You'd never know this thing had been gamed before. Looks brand new, and they stamped my initials in the face and did all black paintfill. Looks so good.

Could you please post a picture of your putter? I have a Yes Callie which I love, but after 8 years there are scratches and other marks of intensive use. I also never liked the colour of the head, would like to get it painted black, with red or blue grooves. Thanks.

I have a new O-Works No. 7 and the white paint on the top is reflective. Thinking about making the white black and then changing the red alignment lines and three dots to white. Can the black be matched or does the entire head need to be repainted?119a2bb747d1d6710e4e285147c87fb4.jpg

Do it! Just picked up an O-works # 7 myself after a full bag fitting. Looking to black it out and leave the 3 sight dots white. Justin and the guys at Continental have done great work in the past on my Rory 006/ Scotty NP2/Vsteel 4 wood and I look forward to sending them my new putter to customize.

We do not strip all the old paint off and when its refinished it will only add a very few amount of grams to the overall weight.

That's the answer I was looking for. Stripping the paint and dealing with the seams of carbon/titanium is asking for trouble.

IMO, Callaway should have kept the matte finish like they had on the Fusion.

Good work on that head, looks great.

Also, sorry if it was asked, but what is the cost for this treatment? Or just the matte on the crown?

Just finished practicing with it, so the bottom is dirty, but if you look at my WITB, you'll see the post the day I got it and how it looked prior to Continental. They did amazing work bringing it back to essentially brand new status. And I like having all black lines instead of white, black, and yellow. Don't hesitate to have them do work on your putter.

Wanted to share a couple of clubs that Continental recently refinished for me. 915D2 and Callaway Mini 1.5. Had a big idiot mark on the 915, and the Mini was just too light when I cut it down to the length I prefer.

Had them both finished in Titleist 905 gray, faces brushed. Had the alignment aid on the Mini removed and they hot melted it up to a nice heavy weight. Perfect job on both! I'm very pleased.

Yes, I had them paint the red portions to match the gray on the crown. Looks great. I don't have a picture on me right now, but I'll try to get one up this weekend.

I had cut the Mini down to 42 inches and it was far too light (C9-ish.) The hot melt has made a world of difference. Amazing sound and solid feel.

May cut another half inch off of it. With the Speeder 952 I recently installed it swingweights at about D6 :)

Here's one more of the Mini crown. The paint is just fantastic.

Thanks for these! I have mine on an Oban V430 Tour Proto 75/05, and was thinking of changing the red on the bottom to match the grey in that shaft - not sure what Callaway was thinking with the red graphic. Would do eggshell black on the crown and brush the face just as you've done.

What is the cost of the Epic work? Interested in this but would like to know the cost.

Thanks

You are looking at 50-60 dollars depending on the work you want done. Feel free to message us if you have a project in mind. Thanks
