Japan Wazaki Wedges???

Anyone gaming Japan Wazaki Wedges?

 

These are suppose to be "Made In Japan" Wedges but really dirt cheap. Also the funny thing is that the company is based out of Hong Kong.

 

Check on Ebay and or Amazon.

 

Want to know if they are legitimately made in Japan wedges!!!

Made in japan doesn't inherently mean it will be awesome. I wouldn't expect something dirt cheap, on eBay and amazon, even if made in japan, to feel like a miura/epon/kyoei etc. just because the company is in japan.

I would you go to TOURSPEC and see if they carry this product. If they do, then it is legit, they deal in upper layer equipment.

I said "F*** it" and pulled the trigger on a 52/56/60 set. They're on the way and I'll let you know how they are, if you still care. I know this was 17 months ago haha. I'm not the greatest golfer (10ish HC), and I've never had anything other than Play-it-again Sports wedges, so I'm sure they'll be just fine for me.

A guy at my club has one of these. I've only ever played one round with him, and during that round he holed out from 70 yards with one of these gold wedges ... he let me hit a couple of balls with it, and it is actually an ok wedge !

I have had a set for 12 months and can't fault them, there are as good as anything else out there, I went for the black ones not into bling.
