I was trying to remember back to when I visited Australia and was thinking that prostitution is legal there. That could also effect how Allenby morally feels about the practice. Ever heard the old saying "it's not the crime it's coverup"? If he would have said "I think I got drugged, I got beaten up, robbed and left somewhere", the thread has a whole different tone. He's basically fighting the sympathetic impulse with everything he is saying in addition to that. Nobody thinks he did that to himself, but he is leaving breadcrumbs pointing to the fact he may not be so innocent in all of this.

Conspiracy: a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful.

Cover-up: an attempt, whether successful or not, to conceal evidence of wrongdoing, error, incompetence or other embarrassing information.

In this case...I think most are inclined to lean towards the latter.

That's all I've really heard him say. The effects of having been drugged would last a day or two like a real bad hangover and he probably should have just waited before making a bunch of weird short statements and posting pic's on social media. The other discrepancies like where he ended up and how he got home would obviously be pretty cloudy.

If we all just believed Allenby, we'd be holding him to a different standard than Tiger. That wouldn't be fair.
Additionally, it was Allenby's tactless calling out of AK years ago that created a holier than thou standard for him. Allenby has to live up to the standard he created for himself and none of his actions are doing him any favors.
Dude why hasn't he seen a doctor yet? That makes no sense. If this drugging and beating were so bad he should sought medical attention. Unless he has something to hide.
