I don't have the game or the wardrobe to go with a pair of shoes like that but if I did that's exactly my style.
Thanks! You'd be surprised how easy it is to wear those shoes with lots of different colors. Nobody really cares what you're wearing, wear whatever you want! :good:

All the super high-end stuff, and the old FJ classics, are always going to have a look of their own. In my eyes, they really are the best looking golf shoes... but the choices are endless.

When it comes to a "semi-affordable for most" regular release golf shoe, there are 2 that come to mind for me. I really wish that they would re-release these (probably never going to happen, though).

Some of my favorites, especially with shorts.

edit #2: i'll look at 'em later and post the manufacturer.

Love them! Even with the Magnum PI stache, or scrubbers, whatever they are!

The tickler. :cheesy:

i know everyone is just breathless with anticipation about finding out who made my shoes.

the answer is 'A-Game.'

according to araf, the 'A' stands for 'Abomination.' lol

i think the company is either out of business or refuses to update their 2013 website. i did a brief google search and found nothing on my plaid shoes, so if you wanted a pair (you know, for the jokes) you might be out of luck. it looks like they have other models for sale (ticklers included) but nothing really of note.

Everyone has their own tastes in shoes obviously. In my opinion, these look like the shoes my grandmother wears to the bingo hall every Wednesday night.

That's too bad. Of the choices they offer, yours were the best by a long shot.

Cheers!

I have a pair of brown TW SP-8 that I've worn since about 2008. Finally retired them this winter, as both of the air-bag things had deflated. Replaced them with the Adipure Z. I prefer the Adipure, but as has already been said, it's impossible to find them new. I don't like the sneaker-tennis shoe look. It looks cheap and unprofessional to me. Last TW's I liked were the 2011's, and even then, that ballistic mesh was iffy.

How many times can I like this?? Greatest shoes ever, both looks and comfort. They're timeless. They look as good now as they did when they were a new release.

Some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, golf or otherwise, are the Adidas Adicross Tours.

adicross-Tour.png

So comfortable in fact, I tracked down both the black and the white this winter after wearing a pair of the brown last summer. They can be had for peanuts now and they're outstanding shoes.

Category 1 - Footjoy Classic Dry Premiere saddles - white with white pebble and / or black with black croc / alligator.
Category 2 - Adidas Adipure; pretty much any colour, but black / white and white / black are classic, although I did like the white and sky blue limited editions!!

I've still got 2 pairs of classics and 2 pairs of Adipures. I'm looking after them because with the exception of some of the Ecco hybrids, I don't like a whole load of the current shoes.

Shame they didn't make the Nike Lunar Control in an all white version - would have been nice..

if you tell me you are a 10-10.5 wide with high arches, just think of the amount of space we could save! we wouldn't have to hang our bikes up on the wall anymore! we'd be able to see the newly installed brazilian cherry wide plank floors in our walk-in closet! i know you said it was dumb to put the upgraded flooring in the closets, but now i'm glad we had that argument.

now, if you'll only listen to me about the need for a food processor, a mixer AND a juicer in spite of our limited counter space, we won't have anything to fight about anymore.

<wistful sigh>

You're right these shoes are very comfortable, but they look like I should be shooting strikes, not pars. :)

These are my All-Timers and all that I've worn in Tourneys and swats since they were introduced.

The top pics are of the AE Haskels, which I have in black & brown and I wear the black in the final rounds of all tourneys and also in big swats, with black slacks and a pink/pink accent shirt.

The Weybridge I have in black, though I substituted black laces for the tan. These are my "everyday" golf shoe, and early round tourney shoes.

I also wear AE for dress/business.

Yea, they cost a bit more though trust me, you step onto the first tee in these, and people notice, lol, in a good way & they're very comfortable.

Put it this way....

They go good with my Mizzys :)

Have a great week Gals & Gents!!

All the Best,
Richard

My toothbrush and extra underwear are packed.

I wear a 10 medium, but I'll double up my socks to accommodate.

I'm in for the juicer, mixer and processor as long as you are on board with a nice Maple tree in the yard. Y'know, as a nod to my Canuckian heritage.

I'll throw my Icons, my Gibbons Handmade Sharkskins, Ecco World Class GTX and several pairs of the Adicross Tours shown above into another suitcase, load the clubs, pour the gasoline on the house and toss the match.

Where am I headed?

I thought that too at first, but they're really, really comfortable. They look much better in person.
