Best looking golf shoes of all time

biased opinion? I love the style of footjoys, but hardly ever wear pants down here and want comfort.

I was headed over to this forum to post on this exact topic. I have the adidas adipure motion shoe in all white ( Link below). I wear a 14, so it is very challenging to find golf shoes, much less, those that are not ridiculous looking like most options out there. These adidas to me are the best golf shoes I've ever owned. VERY comfortable and sporty, but very classic looking as well. I regret not buying every pair of 14s on ebay when the guy had them.

First "real" golf shoe I owned...made me feel like a real player. Footjoy cordovan wingtip with steel spikes circa mid-80's.

Same here, I only wear mine a couple times per year - usually in perfect conditions or big (to me) tournaments. I've had them now for about 2-3 years and even then it was extremely difficult to find NOS.

 

Instant classic. I wore out 2 pairs and then scoured eBay for a year after they were discontinued and found one brand new in my size. They're sitting next to a pair of FJ classic dry premiere .. Both pristine.. Adidas should rerelease these. Best golf shoes I've ever owned

Agree and bigger bonus if they could lighten them up a bit. Only knock on them was the weight. I have a white and baby blue pair that I've worn maybe 5 times. My issue is I don't want to wear them out so I never wear them. Crazy, I know.

Wow. 90% of these shoes stink. I thought this was a "best looking shoe" thread.

There isn't a single Adidas I've ever liked to look at. Sorry. They are all ugly to me. The 3 stripes on EVERYTHING makes me yawn.

Also, any kind of sneaker golf shoes don't/can't ever be in the discussion of best looking. I only wear TW13s, TW14's ID'd and Masters, but not because of their looks. Comfort and performance absolutely. I had to ID the 14s the stock offerings were so bad.

To each his own, obviously, but put that white Adidas next to any of Richards, or R35's Gibbons, and it's no contest.

Keep the pics coming. But PLEASE no more sneakers, TW's, or Adidas.

There's nothing wrong with the Gibbons "dress golf shoe look", in fact I really like them and have Icons and a pair of Classics Dry Premiere's....but how do you wear them with shorts? All it makes me think of is how funny someone would look if they wore dress shoes with shorts.
That's the beauty of the original Adipure; shorts/pants look equally nice with them. Not a lot of flash, and on the all whites the three stripes don't even stand out too much.

White Footjoy classics and white footjoy classics with black saddle. There was nothing better than those IMO. Damn I wish footjoy would make them again.
