it's the same bag as the modern plat; the finishes are just a little different. if the top was a 6-way configuration the same as the staff bags it could be the perfect bag.

Yeah, I have 2015 version of it and 2017 white/black model. The opening is a bit small but it still looks good

how does that thing compare to an 18 degree driving iron or "utility" iron?

Dunham's by me has nike power distance practice balls for 50 cents a piece. Threw 40 volts in a baggy. Also have rzn platinum's marked practice for 10 a dozen (marked 15 but rang up for 10). Grabbed 2 bags but I'll probably go back for more.

 

Now, any good nike ball bags out there to throw these volts in and easily transport to the pitch n putt? Obviously the nike golf club one is awesome but no way of getting that! Did they ever make anything else like it?

The shag bag looks awesome, it's a bit big and a little more than I want to spend. Ended up grabbing this Nike ball bag with heineken branding for 12 bucks on ebay. Ought to be more than good enough.

FWIW, I have the VFP 2-iron and it's fantastic. It launches much lower than my Vapor 5-wood, so it doesn't carry as far, but it's great off the tee. It's especially great in this part of the country when the summers dry out the clay and the ground gets fast and firm. I miss very few fairways with it. For me it's a great 235-245 club.

I have the Vapor Pro Combo 2 iron and I replaced my 5 wood with it. Absolutely solid and I can even hit it well enough off the fairway on par 5's. Flys about 230-240 for me.

you guys sound like much bigger hitters than me. I've got a srixon 20* 3 iron and a good carry for me is about 185. I may not have the swing speed for it or a 2 iron in truth.

What do you have yours shafted with?

 

Well, I originally ordered one with a Recoil 95x, but then Nike exited the club business and, after months of stringing me along, cancelled my order. I ended up buying one with a Steelfiber 110cw stiff from a member on here last fall. It's solid, but I've considered swapping out the shaft for something a little stiffer. Sometimes I feel like the shaft is a little too weak. I play mine for about 235 carry.
