When is Nike going to add the Origin to the website? It's making me a bit nervous. I have a B2-01 on order from my local shop. They said they would have it on 4/22. I sure hope they are right.

Wow, I'm so late to the party. I just managed to pick up the Prototype from last years release and we're already on to the Origin. Feels like I'm always playing catch-up. But at least I managed to get the #1 from last years release :happy:

Its still in the mail, I'll be receiving it on Monday or Tuesday. Its coming from Toronto. I believe he is the original owner because he said he will include the original receipt. I believe it was purchased from a golftown in Toronto. Ill be sure to get some pictures up when I get it.

 

Sounds right. I remember that a few low numbers ended up north of the border.

Can anyone verify that the shape of the B2-01 Origin is the same as the Matter B2-01? I personally like the shape of the Matter B2-01 much more than the Rory 006.

Starting to have second thoughts about gaming #1, maybe I should trade it away for another one so I don't feel so bad about gaming it. I've never been sentimental about things like this but I almost feel as though #1 should be kept new.

Similar but not the same. The Origin has more hand shaping and a softer look due the rounding of the bumpers and a flatter top line.

For sure.

 

Don't get me wrong, I love the head shape. I just think that huge step in the flange will drive me nuts. In a couple weeks these will hopefully start hitting stores.

Having seen them in person, I didn't even notice the step when trying it out to feel the weight and balance (no where to roll actual balls). If it is at all staggered, it is very minimal. I know I'm certainly not looking at the flange when putting so it doesn't matter to me either way. I do prefer a site dot though so wish there was that option.

That was the initial release date according to Nike but was pushed back to the 22nd.

 

I would love it to ship on the 15th but wouldn't count on it.

The stock grip is really really nice. Almost makes me re think ordering counter flex.
