It would be really nice to be able to post in the looking for a match section with a teetime and number of open spots. You can do this currently with just posting but I think having a distinction between open slots in tee times and people that want to pair up for golfing would be nice. That way if you want to open the app Saturday morning and find an open slot in a tee time, or fill an open slot in a tee time you could do so. You could search for open tee times within a 20 mile radius and looking for a competitive round, or you could post your tee time saying you don't want a competitive round. Or if you wanted to find a "buddy" to golf with and set tee times up with then you could use the match making part of the feature.

Cool app. Many are mentioning the number of golfers in the area and that is the biggest challenge of deploying a "social media" such as this one. I think this giveaway is a great idea to get more golfers on the app.

As far as features go, it would be cool to be able to give another golfer a simple thumbs up or thumbs down after the round. This could act as a rating system that would let golfers know if someone is not exactly a pleasure to play with or does not follow proper etiquette (without trash talking).

This kind of app would also be great if you could tie into any open APIs that sites like GolfNow may have available. This way you could find someone to play with and book a tee time with them all in the same place.

Downloaded the app and think it has lots of potential. In the "Golfers" section, best I can tell, you can only search by a golfer's name. I would like to search by all golfer's in a certain location/city/etc. Good way to find potential new golf partners but not by name search.

This app will rule all golf apps. I like being able to decide if you want to simply let someone see where you play or played. And, looking for other players is great. The only thing i can think of is a location filter. I do like seeing other courses as well. I just need more users in my area which will happen over time.

Interesting concept, I am mostly interested in local golf and it would be better if it was easier to narrow the location. Probably as the app becomes more popular, it will make sense to shrink the area of interest.

GolfMatch can't just be a golf-focused hybrid of Instagram and Facebook which is what it seems to be now. The product needs to deliver on matching golfers with games/matches. It needs to be more specific to location but also tee times and available spots.

I've tried to use it in NYC and have gotten "likes" but no real interest in playing golf.

Right now it's just a newsfeed, should be more of a "dating site" for golfers.

Great idea for a product. I can't count how many times last year I didn't play because I hate to solo, but don't want to be paired with a dud.

I have to agree with the rest of the replies that the applicability of this is low given the current setup. My match feed shows no requests inside of 2 hours. I understand this is likely based on the current user base, but as it currently views there is little relevance to me.

You'd have to get the region searches figured out first, but going a bit further and enabling searches for particular courses would be extremely desirable.

I really like this app based on the few times I have used. The timeline feature is really nice and fun to read. Two things I would l like to see is more a more localized news feed and perhaps a GPS function that would allow you to find a match based on where you are located that day. I live in Middle Georgia, but if I happen to be in Nashville for the day it would be nice for the app to recognize that and pair me up with some locally without having to do anything except open the app.

Would love to see the message feed with a "Local/National" filter switch. Maybe start with "local" meaning state-wide, then narrow it as membership grows.
