Awesome app. As everyone here has stated that location filtering is needed. But I still want to see content from around the country. But I also don't want to scroll through tons of posts (at scale)to see my content. So maybe a my content tab? Still working on the golfcardshare theory. More on that later.

I think a place for reviews for local or a course you plan on traveling to would help the app, having updated reviews really helps people from wasting their time calling around & always hearing "yeah the greens are in good shape".

Excellent concept and feels like a winner. The navigation feels organic and smooth. Obviously a chicken or egg deal - it will work with people utilizing. But how to get them engaged. This promotion is a great idea. My particular work situation at the moment does not allow me to plan many rounds. They are more of the "sneak away for 9". This will test the utility. But I will test it and even if that is not all that promising for my limited schedule, my work situation will be changing to a more conventional deal eventually and I can see this being huge for me going forward. Thanks for the offer!

It's a great concept but my opinion is that if you focus too much on the social aspect, it'll take away from the original purpose. I don't want golf's version of Facebook, I just want a place to find people to play golf with and maybe have the chance to rate the companions I found on the app and whether or not I enjoyed their company as a golfer.

However, if there are some featured stories, that would be great, I just don't care about what's going on with golfers in my area that I have never met because who really cares?

Seems to have been said a lot but local posts. Maybe also a way to tag your course so I can see how it looks before trying a new one.

I play a lot of rounds by myself, so the best value added feature to me is the ability to connect with other players in my area. If I had the ability to add something, I think a marketplace would be nice, like our BST. Sort of a very niche market Craig's list. I feel it would raise the level of "trustworthiness" since you connect with these people and it is a much smaller community.

Great concept, especially for a person like me. My advice: add a feature where we can look for players in a certain region. It'd be great to see who I can play with in the East Bay for example

Agree completely. Too complicated with the everyone post anything like Facebook. I enjoy seeing what others are doing but the app is called golfmatch, not golf share. After playing along with it I think they may be straying from the focus of matching golfers and just being another timeline feed of peoples photos and comments. These guys are cool so I am sure they will figure it out.

The app is a neat concept. Not sure that I'm really interested to see what people thousands of miles away are saying or wanting to play. Maybe just narrow it down a people in your area or chosen followers on the feed. Also would like to see a handicap index entry on it as par 72 courses that people play can vary dramatically. I typically don't care who I get paired with when I play as a single, but sometimes I want to play with someone as the same skill level as myself. Thanks for the opportunity!

Just downloaded it... as a mobile app designer/newbie developer myself heres my input:

Design looks great, simple and UX is easy to follow. I like the concept of a "golf only" news feed.... sometimes I browse golf hashtags on instagram and twitter, so now I have my go to place.

As per suggestions from other users, localization is key here. Perhaps one way to onboard localization is just to have a "Filter" menu item that leads to a table view of options.

If you're going for the complete "golf" social network, it would be cool to have a global buy/sell section (perhaps a separate feed) for users to browse through.

Overall, app looks great... good luck!

Edit: Just noticed the "Matches" and "Golfers" sections on the bottom tab bar. Localization is already in the app folks! Play around with it!

Have been using the app for some time! Great app all around. Being able to target more granular location would be the way to go. By course would be amazing. Just saying...
